該纖絲或網格、梭織或非織物纖維必需被緊固或安定,其有助於簡化處理及容許藉由溫度或壓力接合個別表面結構或複數個這些表面結構。緊固或接合單層或多層表面結構之安定預成形同樣可藉由 溫度和壓力被控制。
然後將依此方法製造和預處理之強化材料埋入一高分子基材內。在此態樣中,強化材料和高分子基材間之黏合具有一特殊意義。
熱塑性纖維材料已為EP 1 705 269 A1所習知,其係紡成自含多羥基醚之原料。這些來自多羥基醚之纖維於埋入該高分子基材之前被用作為固定強化纖維之絲線。
此外,已知來自EP 0 698 649 A2之共聚酯熱融黏著物質,其顯示具有異常鍵結性能、低熔點、快速結晶以及對清洗和清潔具有良好抗性。
從此開始,本發明之目的係提供具有改良安定性之纖維結構。
藉由具有申請專利範圍第1項之纖維結構以及藉由其製造方法可滿足此目的。藉由具有申請專利範圍第11項特徵之纖維樹脂複合材料同樣可達到此目的。申請專利範圍第15項則說明根據本發明纖維結構之用途。
根據本發明,可從經緊固及/或安定纖維結構之纖維材料以及從其緊固和安定之物質獲得改善。
該用於緊固和安定之物質係一種根據本發明之結構共聚酯,其係形成自下列組分:從55至100莫耳%之對苯二甲酸;從0至45莫耳%之間苯二甲酸;從35至75莫耳%之丁二醇;從15至35莫耳%之二乙二醇; 從10至30莫耳%之參乙二醇。
在此態樣中,就分別為100莫耳%之總二酸和總二醇含量而言,對苯二甲酸和丁二醇之莫耳分率總和最大為150莫耳%。
該至少一種結構共聚酯較佳為形成自下列組分:從70至100莫耳%,較佳為85至100莫耳%之對苯二甲酸;從0至30莫耳%,較佳為0至15莫耳%之間苯二甲酸;從45至65莫耳%,較佳為47至57莫耳%之丁二醇;從20至30莫耳%,較佳為23至28莫耳%之二乙二醇;從15至25莫耳%,較佳為20至25莫耳%之參乙二醇。
在此態樣中,就分別為100莫耳%之總二酸和總二醇含量而言,對苯二甲酸和丁二醇之莫耳分率總和最大為150莫耳%。
在一較佳具體實施例中,該至少一種結構共聚酯可含有0至2%重量比,較佳為0.05至1%重量比特別指成核劑、安定劑、潤滑劑、消泡劑、縮合催化劑或其混合物之添加物,該共聚酯和添加物之總和為100%重量比。
按ISO/DIN 1133標準、於160℃和2.16 kg負載之下測定時,用於根據本發明之共聚酯較佳為具有範圍在100至3000 Pas,較佳為100至600 Pas,最佳為120至500 Pas以及極佳為150至300 Pas之熔融黏度。
若根據本發明共聚酯被用於定絲(fixing thread)例如纖維紗、多絲或單絲之形式,按ISO/DIN 1133標準、於160℃和2.16 kg負載之下測定時,其較佳為具有範圍在1000至3000 Pas,較佳為1500至2500 Pas,最佳為1700至2200 Pas之熔融黏度。
按ISO 11357標準、於20 K/分加熱速率之下測定時,被用 於根據本發明之共聚酯較佳為具有60℃至160℃,較佳為70℃至150℃,以及最佳為90℃至140℃區域內之熔點。
聚酯之製造較佳為根據下列合成法。
將芳香族二羧酸或二羧酸混合物分散於二醇內;加入酯化催化劑和任選適當的熱安定劑,該二醇用量超過5至50莫耳%。在緩慢加熱之下,該酯化作用發生於200℃至280℃,較佳為210℃至260℃之溫度範圍內。於此過程中濾除生成水。
接著於溫度範圍220至270℃,較佳為230至260℃及視需要於存在聚縮合催化劑(相對聚酯用量為1至100 ppm,較佳為10至45 ppm)之惰化反應釜(inertized autoclave)內進行聚縮合反應。在這一點上,逐步施予真空以及萃取過量二醇使其極限真空(end vacuum)低於1 mbar。達到所欲黏度之後,移除、粒化和乾燥所產生之聚酯。
錳、鋅、鈣、錫、鈦或鎂等具有低脂肪醇之金屬鹽,例如丁醇,可被用作為酯化催化劑。銻、鈦、錫或鍺基化合物,例如三氧化銻,可被用作為聚縮合催化劑。酯化催化劑和聚縮合催化劑均為許多技術者所習知。
纖維材料較佳為含有或實質上由同向長纖維或橫向纖維材料之織物、羊毛、針織網或針織布或不織布群組所構成。亦可能使用混合長絲和橫向纖維材料。
該纖維材料較佳為選自下列群組:‧玻璃纖維,‧碳纖維,‧礦物纖維,‧合成纖維(特別指較佳為聚酯和聚醯胺,尤指聚芳醯胺之高分子纖 維),天然纖維,特別指綿花、羊毛、木綿(kapok)、大麻、亞麻、黃麻(jute)或木棉以及‧其混合物。
根據本發明,提供一種製造先前所述纖維結構之方法,其係藉由粉點塗層法(powder point coating)、漿點塗層法(paste point coating)或分散塗層法(scatter coating)或作為糊劑、懸浮液、薄膜、網狀物、非織造物、固定非織造物或梭織物或噴熔物施予至少一種用於緊固和安定該纖維材料之物質,接著藉由溫度及/或壓力固定該纖維結構。
或者,亦可藉由利用製造自該至少一種結構共聚酯之定絲進行縫合。在此方法中,其已可達到緊固而不需其後溫度及/或壓力之效應。
分散塗層法或施予糊劑、懸浮液、薄膜、網狀物或噴熔物或縫合法為較佳之施用方法。其中以分散塗層法、網狀物、噴熔物或縫合法之施用法為最佳。
本發明進一步態樣係關於一種纖維樹脂複合材料,其含有至少一種熱固性樹脂以及至少一種先前所述纖維結構。
該熱固性樹脂較佳為一種環氧樹脂。
已驚訝地發現用於埋入根據本發明緊固該共聚酯之高分子基材可改善其結合力。
按美國試驗材料測試標準ASTM D2344M,該纖維樹脂複合材料於溫度23℃下測定時較佳為具有至少55 MPa,最佳為至少60 MPa之層間剪切強度(ILSS)。
於按照AITM 1.0010空中巴士標準測試衝擊後壓縮強度之 測定中,根據本發明之纖維樹脂複合材料更偏好為具有至少185 MPa,較佳為至少210 MPa,最佳為至少245 MPa之衝擊後壓縮強度(CAI)。
一種附加態樣係關於先前解釋纖維結構作為用於環氧樹脂強化材料,特別指其於運動、休閒、機械工業、電子、建築、醫學工程、交通工具和運輸以及航太工程領域之用途。
先前解釋之纖維結構作為用於環氧樹脂強化材料,其於運動、休閒、機械工業、電子、建築、醫學工程、交通工具和運輸以及航太工程領域之用途尤佳。
將在不侷泥於此處所示特定具體實施例之下參考下列實例更詳細地描述根據本發明之申請標的。
根據本發明之共聚酯組成物(成分A1至A4)以及比較法之組成物(CoPES I、CoPES II、EVA、PA 6/12/66、PA 12、PE)示於表1。
亦可使用Melthene MX06代替MX09。
根據下列標準及以下列樣本進行測試和測定。
拉伸剝落試驗

測定溫度23℃
樣本製造
將受試熱塑性塑膠之平面薄膜(每單位面積塗佈量為200 g/m2)藉由雙鋼帶壓縮裝置層合於聚酯羊毛織物(55/45%重量比,棕色,每單位面積塗佈量為210 g/m2,製造商德國Becker Tuche或義大利Marzotto)上。 熱塑性塑膠之層合溫度為高於熔點30℃。該層合板於50℃儲存24小時之後將其切割成24x8 cm樣本。將一塑膠框(15x5 cm)置於該樣本上,並且在其窄邊下放置一蠟紙條。將該框內充填至3 mm之新配製脫氣環氧化物混合物。將環氧化物於23℃固化12至16小時。然後卸除該塑膠框。使該蠟紙條與熱塑性塑膠膜分開並且環氧化物呈覆蓋約3 cm長度。
該環氧化物係以2:1重量比例混合自0.520至0.550當量/100 g環氧值(Grilonit G 1302,EMS-CHEMIE AG)以及290至350 KOH/g胺值(Grilonit H 84048,EMS-CHEMIE AG)之雙酚A環氧樹脂。
層間剪切強度(ILSS)

樣本製造
先藉由樹脂轉注成形(RTM)製造330x330x4 mm尺寸之平板。基於此目的,將具有每單位面積塗佈量為298 g/m2之單向碳纖維絲手動地置入具有利用一篩具均勻分散18 g熱塑粉於其上並且重複此過程15次之預熱至80℃熱壓機模孔(mold cavity)內,其第2層單向碳纖維絲相對第1層為旋轉-45°、第3層為+45°及第4層為90°。該16層構造之第5層因此與第1層具有相同方向。18 g熱塑粉除了第16層之外被分佈於每一層。於關閉模具之後,在真空(剩餘壓力為0.05 mbar)下將其加熱至120℃,然後當到達該溫度時倒入預熱至80℃之單組分環氧樹脂(來自美國Hexcel公司之HexFlow RTM6)。於180℃和6 bar壓力下固化90分鐘。隨後降低壓力以及同時進行冷卻。維持真空直至模具被開啟為止。利用日本Toho Tenax 公司之IMS 60 E13作為單向碳纖維絲。利用超音波檢測該平板品質之後,將樣本切割成24x8x4 mm之尺寸。檢測前60分鐘樣本可到達測量溫度。壓力係產生自人工氣候室。
製造用於比較試驗中碳纖維絲間無任何熱塑粉之樣本。

樣本之製造
如同層間剪切強度(ILSS)試驗中所述製造該平板。利用超音波檢測品質之後,將該樣本切割成150x100x4 mm之尺寸。
製造用於比較試驗中碳纖維絲間無任何熱塑粉之樣本。
於強度試驗之前,利用落塔(drop tower)施予30 J之衝擊。利用超音波測定此衝擊所產生之脫層面積。接著,以相同樣本測定於壓縮時之其餘強度。

於20 K/分之加熱速率下進行示差掃描量熱法(DSC)。求出最大峰值之溫度。
利用根據本發明所稱材料以及比較材料進行針對材料性質之比較試驗。
在此態樣中,拉伸剝落試驗之結果示於表2。
根據本發明(實例1至實例4)共聚酯(A1)至(A4)所獲得之黏力值至少3.7倍較高於作為熱固性塑膠之非根據本發明共聚酯、乙烯醋酸乙烯酯、各種聚醯胺或低密度PE(比較實例5至10)。因此下列中僅針對根據本發明之共聚酯進行測試。
層間剪切強度(ILSS)之測定結果示於表3。
實例11至實例14顯示由於使用根據本發明之共聚酯,因此其複合材料於23℃和於80℃測量溫度時與無根據本發明共聚酯之複合材料(比較實例15)相比具有較高強度。
衝擊後壓縮(CAI)試驗之結果示於表4,亦即先前施予30 J衝擊之後測定該樣本時其脫層面積已顯著增加。
實例16至實例19與不使用根據本發明共聚酯之複合材料(比較實例20)相比顯示由於使用根據本發明共聚酯之複合材料而大為提昇其強度以及具有實質上較小脫層面積。

Claims (15)

  1. 一種來自纖維材料以及來自用於其緊固和安定之物質之緊固及/或安定纖維結構,其特徵在於該用於緊固和安定之物質係至少一種形成自下列組分之結構共聚酯:從55至100莫耳%之對苯二甲酸;從0至45莫耳%之間苯二甲酸;從35至75莫耳%之丁二醇;從15至35莫耳%之二乙二醇;從10至30莫耳%之參乙二醇,其中就分別為100莫耳%之總二酸和總二醇含量而言,對苯二甲酸和丁二醇之莫耳分率總和最大為150莫耳%。
  2. 根據申請專利範圍第1項所述之纖維結構,其特徵在於該至少一種結構共聚酯係形成自下列組分:從70至100莫耳%,較佳為85至100莫耳%之對苯二甲酸;從0至30莫耳%,較佳為0至15莫耳%之間苯二甲酸;從45至65莫耳%,較佳為47至57莫耳%之丁二醇;從20至30莫耳%,較佳為23至28莫耳%之二乙二醇;從15至25莫耳%,較佳為20至25莫耳%之參乙二醇,其中就分別為100莫耳%之總二酸和總二醇含量而言,對苯二甲酸和丁二醇之莫耳分率總和最大為150莫耳%。
  3. 根據上述申請專利範圍中任一項所述之纖維結構,其特徵在於該至少一種結構共聚酯可含有0至2%重量比,較佳為0.05至1%重量比特別指成核劑、安定劑、潤滑劑、消泡劑、縮合催化劑之添加物,該共聚酯和添加物之總和為100%重量比。
  4. 根據上述申請專利範圍中任一項所述之纖維結構,其特徵在於按ISO/DIN 1133標準、於160℃和2.16 kg負載之下測定時,該至少一種共聚酯具有範圍在100至3000 Pas,較佳為100至600 Pas,最佳為120至500 Pas以及極佳為150至300 Pas之熔融黏度。
  5. 根據申請專利範圍第1項至第3項中任一項所述之纖維結構,其特徵在於按ISO/DIN 1133標準、於160℃和2.16 kg負載之下測定時,該至少一種被用於定絲之共聚酯具有範圍在1000至3000 Pas,較佳為1500至2500 Pas,最佳為1700至2200 Pas之熔融黏度。
  6. 根據上述申請專利範圍中任一項所述之纖維結構,其特徵在於按ISO 11357標準、於20 K/分加熱速率之下測定時,該至少一種共聚酯具有範圍在60℃至160℃,較佳為70℃至150℃,以及最佳為90℃至140℃之熔點。
  7. 根據上述申請專利範圍中任一項所述之纖維結構,其特徵在於該纖維材料係來自織物、羊毛、針織網或針織、或不織布或其組合之同向長纖維或橫向纖維材料。
  8. 根據上述申請專利範圍中任一項所述之纖維結構,其特徵在於該纖維材料係選自下列群組包括:‧玻璃纖維,‧碳纖維,‧礦物纖維,‧合成纖維,特別指聚酯和聚醯胺,尤指聚芳醯胺之高分子纖維,‧天然纖維,特別指綿花、羊毛、木綿、大麻、亞麻、黃麻或木綿以及 ‧其混合物。
  9. 一種製造根據上述申請專利範圍中任一項所述纖維結構之方法,其中藉由粉點塗層法、漿點塗層法或分散塗層法或作為糊劑、懸浮液、薄膜、網狀物、非織造物、固定非織造物或梭織物或噴熔物施予該至少一種用於緊固和安定該纖維材料之物質,接著藉由溫度及/或壓力固定該纖維結構。
  10. 一種製造根據上述申請專利範圍第1項至第8項中任一項所述纖維結構之方法,其中藉由縫合製造自該至少一種結構共聚酯之定絲進行該纖維材料之緊固和安定。
  11. 一種纖維樹脂複合材料,其含有至少一種熱固性樹脂以及至少一種申請專利範圍第1項至第8項中任一項所述之纖維結構。
  12. 根據申請專利範圍第10項所述之纖維樹脂複合材料,其特徵在於該至少一種熱固性樹脂係環氧樹脂。
  13. 根據申請專利範圍第10項或第11項中所述之纖維樹脂複合材料,其特徵在於該纖維樹脂複合材料於溫度23℃下測定時具有至少55 MPa,較佳為至少60 MPa之層間剪切強度(ILSS)。
  14. 根據申請專利範圍第10項至第12項中所述之纖維樹脂複合材料,其特徵在於該纖維樹脂複合材料於衝擊後壓縮強度之測定中具有至少185 MPa,較佳為至少210 MPa,以及最佳為至少245 MPa之衝擊後壓縮強度(CAI)。
  15. 一種根據上述申請專利範圍中任一項所述纖維結構作為用於環氧樹脂強化材料,特別指其於運動、休閒、機械工業、電子、建築、醫學工程、交通工具和運輸以及航太工程領域之用途。
