(54) PROTEINI Z INSEKTICIDNIMI AKTIVNOSTMI IN POSTOPEK UPORABE
Claims (25)
1. Izolirana nukleotidna sekvenca, ki kodira polipeptid z insekticidno aktivnostjo proti koruznemu koreninskemu črvu, označena s tem, da ima ta molekula sekvenco, izbrano iz skupine, ki obstoji iz:
(a) sekvence, navedene v SEQ ID NO: 1;
(b) nukleotidnih sekvenc, ki se hibridizirajo na sekvenco, navedeno v SEQ ID NO: 1 ob ostrih pogojih, definiranih z izpiralno stringenco 0,3 M NaCl, 0,03 M natrijevega citrata, 0,1 % SDS pri 70 °C;
(c) nukleotidnih sekvenc, ki kodirajo aminokislinsko sekvenco, navedeno v SEQ ID NO: 2; in (d) nukleotidnih sekvenc, ki kodirajo pentin-1 polipeptid iz Pentaclethra.
2. Izolirana nukleotidna sekvenca po zahtevku 1, označena s tem, da kodira protein, naveden v SEQ ID NO:2.
3. Nukleotidna sekvenca po zahtevku 1, označena s tem, daje nukleotidna sekvenca sekvenca, navedena v SEQ ID NO: 1.
4. Nukleotidna sekvenca po zahtevku 1, označena s tem, daje sekvenca sintetska.
5. Nukleotidna sekvenca po zahtevku 1, označena s tem, da smo sekvenco optimirali za ekspresijo v koruzi.

Postopek za zatiranje koruznega koreninskega črva, označen s tem, da obsega: transformiranje rastlinske celice z ekspresijsko kaseto, ki obsega promotor, ki vodi ekspresijo v rastlinski celici, operabilno vezani na nukleotidno sekvenco po zahtevku 1, in regeneriranje transformirane rastline iz rastlinske celice.
