Claims (18)

1. Катализатор, который содержит серебро, нанесенное на профилированный носитель с геометрической конфигурацией в виде полого цилиндра, в котором отношение длины к внешнему диаметру находится в интервале от 0,3 до 2 и внутренний диаметр составляет до 30% внешнего диаметра указанного профилированного носителя при допущении, что когда носитель содержит больше, чем один канал, то внутренним диаметром считается диаметр одного канала с площадью поперечного сечения, равной сумме площадей поперечных сечений всех каналов.
2. Катализатор по п.1, в котором серебро присутствует в количестве больше 15 мас.% от общей массы катализатора.
3. Катализатор по п.2, в котором серебро присутствует в количестве в интервале больше 20 мас.% до максимально 50 мас.% от общей массы катализатора.
4. Катализатор по любому из пп.1-3, в котором носитель поглощает воду в количестве больше 40%.
5. Катализатор по п.1, в котором носитель имеет площадь поверхности в интервале от 0,03 до 10 м2/г.
6. Катализатор по п.1, в котором носитель поглощает воду в количестве от 42,5 до 80% и площадь поверхности находится в интервале от 0,5 до 5 м2/г.
7. Катализатор по п.1, в котором отношение длины к внешнему диаметру находится в интервале от 0,5 до 1,6 и отношение внутреннего диаметра к внешнему диаметру находится в интервале от 0,01 до 0,25.
8. Катализатор по п.7, в котором отношение длины к внешнему диаметру находится в интервале от 0,9 до 1,1 и отношение внутреннего диаметра к внешнему диаметру находится в интервале от 0,02 до 0,2.
9. Катализатор по п.1, в котором внешний диаметр находится в интервале от 4 до 16 мм и диаметр канала меньше, чем 3,5 мм.
10. Катализатор по п.1, в котором внешний диаметр находится в интервале от 5 до 12 мм и диаметр канала находится в интервале от 0,1 до 3 мм.
11. Катализатор по п.1, в котором диаметр канала находится в интервале от 0,2 до 2 мм.
12. Катализатор по п.1, в котором катализатор дополнительно содержит промотор, представляющий собой редкоземельный металл, магний, рений или щелочной металл.
13. Катализатор по п.1, в котором катализатор дополнительно содержит промотор, представляющий собой рений, щелочной металл, который выбирают из лития, калия, рубидия и цезия, и кроме того сопромотор рения, содержащий серу, молибден, вольфрам или хром.
14. Способ, включающий получение профилированного носителя с геометрической конфигурацией, в которой отношение длины к внешнему диаметру находится в интервале от 0,3 до 2 и внутренний диаметр составляет до 30% внешнего диаметра указанного профилированного носителя для катализатора и нанесение серебра на профилированный носитель.
15. Способ по п.14, включающий нанесение на носитель помимо серебра, промотора, содержащего рений, и сопромотора рения, содержащего серу, молибден, вольфрам или хром, причем сопромотор рения наносят до или одновременно с нанесением серебра и рений наносят после того, как нанесена по меньшей мере часть серебра.
16. Способ получения этиленоксида, включающий контактирование в подходящих условиях эпоксидирования потока сырья, содержащего этилен и кислород, с катализатором по любому из пп.1-13.
17. Способ по п.16, в котором поток сырья, который контактирует с катализатором и который содержит этилен и кислород, содержит диоксид углерода в концентрации максимально 4 мол. %, в частности максимально 2 мол. %, чаще максимально 1 мол. % от всего сырья.
18. Способ применения этиленоксида для получения этиленгликоля, этиленгликолиевого эфира или 1,2-алканоламина, включающий превращение этиленоксида в этиленгликоль, этиленгликолиевый эфир или 1,2-алканоламин, причем этиленоксид получают по способу получения этиленоксида по п.16 или 17.
