EL PROCESO DE FABRICACION DE ALUMINAS ESPECIALES A PARTIR DEL POLVO PRODUCIDO EN LA CALCINACION DE HIDRATO DE ALUMINA, QUE LA INVENCION PROPONE, CONSIGUE RECUPERAR ESTE SUBPRODUCTO TRATANDOLE SEPARADAMENTE DEL RESTO DE LA ALUMINA, PARA SER CONVERTIDO EN ALUMINA ESPECIAL DE ALTO GRADO DE CALCINACION, O ALUMINA ALFA, ADECUADA PARA USOS DIFERENTES DEL DE LA PRODUCCION DE ALUMINO. EL PROCESO TIENE LUGAR AL SOMETER EL SUBPRODUCTO A UNA FASE DE LAVADO EN AGUA QUE REDUCE SU CONTENIDO EN SODIO, SEPARACION DE SOLIDO Y LIQUIDO, FILTRADO Y LAVADO. POR ULTIMO, SE EFECTUA UNA OPERACION DE SECADO CON UNA CALCINACION A ALTA TEMPERATURA DONDE SE TRANSFORMA EL ALUMINA DE ALTO GRADO DE CALCINACION A ALUMINA ALFA.
