Reakcja ta dotad nie posiadala technicznego znaczenia.Obecnie stwierdzono, ze dzieki zastoso¬ waniu tej reakcji do kwasu 2-oksynaftale- no-3-karbonowego otrzymuje sie bardzo cenne dla farbiarstwa pochodne amidu kwasu 2-oksynaftaleno-3-karbonowego. Re¬ akcja z olejem gorczycowym zachodzi nie¬ spodziewanie gladko przy najlepszej wy¬ dajnosci.Przyklad. 18,8 czesci kwasu 2-oksy- naftaleno-3-karbonowego ogrzewa sie z 13,5 czesciami oleju fenylogorczycowego do mniej wiecej 220°C, dopóki nie przesta¬ nie sie wydzielac tlenosiarczek wegla. Po ostudzeniu krzepnie fenylo-amid kwasu 2-oksynaftaleno-3-karibonowego w postaci krysztalów o wielkiej czystosci. Wydaj¬ nosc jest ilosciowa.Zamiast kwasu fenylogorczycowego daja sie z tym samym wynikiem uzyc wszelkie poziostale estry iziotiocyjiano- Wego. PL PL
