Depending on its purpose and the user's preferences, this furniture can function as a chair, table, footrest, stool, shelf, etc. Commonly known chairs have a frame structure with a backrest, a seat of functional dimensions, and with or without armrests. Other types of furniture used for seating are also known, such as stools. The simplest stool consists of a wooden seat plate supported by three wooden legs. EU industrial design 000721634-0011 is known in the form of a chair consisting of two opposing square frames providing support, connected to a square seat plate. Known occasional tables generally have a frame structure in the shape of a cuboid or cube, on the upper edges of which a board is placed, constituting the tabletop. The essence of the industrial design is a new form of multifunctional furniture in two varieties, manifesting itself in the shape, lines, and contours, giving it an individual character that distinguishes it from other furniture of this type and/or purpose. Each frame has five axles mounted on its opposite sides, each with five rollers. The rollers, cylindrical on both sides and terminated with outer rings with a diameter larger than the rollers themselves, are mounted on axles connected to the opposite sides of the frames. Multifunctional furniture, as designed, therefore has two surfaces composed of five rollers, which, depending on the furniture's purpose and positioning, constitute its running gear. This furniture can be freely positioned, allowing each of the two roller surfaces to form the top surface of the furniture, the bottom surface, in direct contact with the floor, or the sides of the furniture, as designed. The outer rings protect the roller covering from soiling and allow for the use of each surface on both sides, for example, as a seat or as the bottom surface of the furniture. The second variety of multifunctional furniture, as designed, differs from the first in that it has a rectangular board that is not permanently connected to either the furniture structure or the roller surfaces. This board, with a width dependent on the width of the outermost roller rings, can be placed on the top of the furniture, inserted between any rollers at any angle, etc., as needed. This board, in the second version, according to the design, can serve as a backrest, table top, or shelf – depending on the multifunctional furniture's intended use, e.g., as a chair, shelf, or table.
