These couches consist of a wide bed and a relatively low backrest, significantly shorter than the total length of the furniture, and feature a very wide, rounded, single right or left side, connecting to the bedding container and backrest. This type of furniture typically has very low legs, or none at all, and creates the impression of a very substantial interior design element. The industrial design addresses the issue of developing a new form of a fully upholstered single-seater couch, intended for lying and sitting, with a distinctive individual outline of its shapes, lines, proportions, and colors, suitable for repeated industrial or craft reproduction.
