The industrial design concerns the specific shape and aesthetic qualities of the elements of the upholstered furniture set, consisting of a sofa bed and an armchair. There are known design solutions for mass-produced, industrially-made sets of upholstered furniture for home use, consisting of, among others, a two- or three-seater sofa bed and an armchair, in which the dominant accent of the decor is the uniformly colored upholstery, provided with numerous decorative stitching (including in particular stitching located on the armrests and on the cheeks of the armrests and on the outer surfaces of the seat), having decorative edgings or piping framing the front and top edges of the furniture elements, and having local decorative gathers on the sides and front under-seat front panels of the furniture. Also known in the design of stylized upholstered office and club furniture are solutions in which pieces of furniture, such as a sofa, a sofa bed, a corner sofa, or a club armchair, are upholstered in stylish upholstery fabrics, creating a visual impression of stability and a certain solidity. An industrial design addresses the issue of developing a new form for the elements of an upholstered furniture set, consisting of a sofa bed and an armchair, with a specific, individual outline of their shapes, lines, contours, proportions, and colors, suitable for repeated industrial or craft reproduction. The industrial design is presented and illustrated in detail in the attached photographs, in which Fig. 1 shows a perspective, oblique front view of the first set element in the form of a sofa bed, and Fig. 2 shows the same oblique front view of the second set element in the form of an armchair. The first set element—the sofa bed—consists of a body, a foldable metal frame with a foam mattress, two loose seat cushions, and two loose backrest cushions. The body of the sofa bed is made up of three components joined into one unit: the solid sides of the sofa bed, the front seat panel, and the backrest with the bedding container. The bedding container is closed with a hinged flap. The sides of the sofa bed feature massive, mirror-image armrests, rounded outward by a relatively large arc. At the front, each side is adorned with a thick decorative cord, culminating in a decorative button. The side and front views reveal a very high and massive plinth, with a distinctly convex vertical cross-section. The upper horizontal edge of the plinth is also accentuated by a thick decorative cord. The sides and seat of the sofa bed are seated on the plinth. In the front view, a very narrow strip of color-coordinated fabric is located directly beneath the seat cushions. The backrest, with a storage compartment for bedding, has a convex upper edge, with its highest point located above the top of the sides.
