The industrial design concerns the specific shape and aesthetic qualities of the elements of the upholstered furniture set, consisting of a sofa bed and/or a corner sofa bed, and a pouffe. There are well-known design solutions for mass-produced, industrially-made sets of upholstered furniture for home use, consisting of, among other things, a two- or three-seater sofa bed, a corner sofa, and a pouffe. The dominant accent is the solid-colored upholstery, featuring numerous decorative stitching (especially stitching on the armrests, armrest cheeks, and outer seat surfaces). There are also known solutions in the design of stylized upholstered office and club furniture, in which a piece of furniture, such as a sofa bed, a sofa bed, a corner sofa, or a club armchair, is covered with stylish upholstery fabrics, creating a visual impression of stability and a certain solidity. This industrial design addresses the problem of developing a new form for the elements of an upholstered furniture set, consisting of a sofa bed, a corner sofa bed, and a pouffe, with a specific, individual outline of their shapes, lines, contours, proportions, and colors, suitable for multiple industrial or craft reproduction. Four large, movable, identical, square, round-edged, sharp-corner seat cushions rest directly on the fold-down backrest, along with four smaller, similar backrest cushions of the same shape. The entire piece is upholstered in color-coordinated upholstery fabrics. The upholstery fabric covering the four large, square seat cushions, and the four smaller, similar backrest cushions, contrasts in color with the other upholstered parts of the furniture. The third element of the set – a pouffe, designed to seat one person – consists of a box-shaped body, a seat, and a slatted footrest, which has a closed perimeter plinth, the outline of which is slightly smaller than the outline of the box-shaped body. The entire piece is upholstered in color-coordinated furniture fabrics. Significant industrial design features: This upholstered furniture set, consisting of a sofa bed, a corner sofa bed, and a pouffe, is characterized by the following essential industrial design features. The first element of the set – a sofa bed, consists of a body, a movable seat, a fold-out backrest, wide armrests, and numerous movable backrest cushions. The sofa bed has a flat box body with a seat lift mechanism attached to the inside of the front section and a hinged fold-down backrest attached to the rear section.
