The industrial design concerns the specific shape and aesthetic qualities of the elements of the upholstered furniture set, consisting of a sofa bed and/or a corner sofa bed, and an armchair. There are well-known design solutions for mass-produced sets of upholstered furniture for home use, using industrial or craft methods, usually consisting of a two- or three-seater sofa bed, a corner sofa bed and armchairs, in which the dominant accent of the interior design is the uniformly colored upholstery, provided with numerous decorative stitchings (especially stitchings located on the sides of the armrests and on the outer surfaces of the seat and backrest). There are also known solutions in the construction of stylized upholstered office and club furniture, in which a piece of furniture such as a sofa, corner sofa or club armchair is covered with stylish furniture fabrics, which gives the optical impression of its stability and a certain massiveness, and its armrests are equipped with relatively short wooden or wood-based covers, usually located in the upper horizontal part of the armrest, covering part of its length. The industrial design addresses the problem of developing a new form for the elements of an upholstered furniture set, consisting of a sofa bed, a corner sofa bed, and an armchair, with a specific, individual outline of their shapes, lines, contours, proportions, and colors, suitable for multiple industrial or craft reproduction. The subject of the industrial design is presented in detail and illustrated in the attached animated illustrations, in which Fig. 1 shows a perspective diagonal front view of the first element of the set in the form of a sofa bed, Fig. 2 shows a perspective diagonal front view of the second element of the set in the form of a corner sofa bed, and Fig. 3 shows the same diagonal front view of the third element of the set in the form of an armchair. The first element of the set – a sofa bed, designed to seat two or three people and lie down for two – consists of a frame, a movable seat, a fold-down backrest, wide armrests, and numerous movable back cushions. The sofa bed has a frame that is a rigid, flat box that serves as a bedding container, with a two-part, dual-function, spring-and-lever mechanism for lifting and sliding the seat attached to it from the inside at the front, and a hinged fold-down backrest at the rear. The sides of the sofa bed feature mirror-image, wide, stylish corner and armrest panels, the outline of which, when viewed from the side, resembles a stylized shell. These panels are removable by mounting on vertical, self-locking channel guides and are equipped with decorative, wide, curved, wooden legs, approximately the same width as the armrest. Partially from the bottom, front, and top, each armrest is equipped with a flat, wood-effect slatted overlay, the same width as the armrest. The upper horizontal section of the wood-like armrest overlay, which resembles the letter "C" in a side view, runs up to the point where it meets the raised, wedge-shaped, decorative end of the rear part of the armrest. The lateral, vertical outer surface, resembling a shell-shaped block removed from the armrests, is visually accentuated by means of a deep, decorative, oval-shaped upholstery stitching that occupies the majority of this surface. The movable, forward-sliding, one-piece seat has a side view resembling the letter "L," the shorter section of which is vertical, and its front part is rounded with an arc of a large radius in such a way that it almost completely covers the seat box underneath, which constitutes the body of the furniture. The one-piece seat is equipped with two integral, low, narrow, wood-like legs located near its front corners. The seat is visually divided into three identical zones, imitating seat cushions, by a double decorative upholstery stitching in the shape of a regular oval, overlapping in a wide arc the front part of the seat, which is slightly forward relative to the front plane of the wood-like armrest pad. The underseat box is mounted on a decorative wooden slatted base, which has the character of a closed perimeter plinth, the outline of which is slightly smaller than the outline of the underseat box projection. The fold-down, rectangular, flat backrest is the same length as the seat, has a height approximately equal to the height of the shell-shaped armrests, and a thickness corresponding to the thickness of the horizontal seat section.
