The industrial design concerns a specific design of an upholstered home furniture piece, intended for aesthetic purposes. Well-known and widely produced armless upholstered sofas most often consist of two upholstered seat and back cushions, constructed around a rigid frame with several layers of various flexible upholstery materials applied to it and finished with an outer covering of decorative textile upholstery material in various colors and surface textures. The underseat box in known sofa-bed designs is most often attached to the underside of a horizontal bar, to which are attached at least four of the furniture's legs and the mechanism for extending and reclining the seat or folding the backrest. The industrial design addresses the issue of developing a new form of armless sofa that can be folded out for sitting and lying, distinguished by a uniquely individualized outline of its shapes, lines, and proportions, suitable for repeated industrial or craft reproduction. The industrial design is illustrated in detail in the attached drawings, in which Fig. 1 shows a perspective view from the front, diagonally from the right, of an armless fold-out sofa in a folded-down position to a seat, Fig. 2 shows the same view of the sofa from Fig. 1 prepared for lying down for one person, and Fig. 3 shows the same view of the sofa from Fig. 1 in a folded-out position to lie down for two people. The fold-out sofa (Fig. 1, 2 and 3) consists of a flat rectangular fold-out backrest and a flat rectangular seat and two identical, mirror-image, flat, movable corner and edge armrest cushions. The seat, shaped like a regular cuboid with a rectangular base, is visually divided into four symmetrical pairs by three decorative, contouring upholstery pulls. The central section of the divided sliding seat, intended for seating, consists of two parts and, from the front, has the shape of an irregular trapezoid, with the larger base at the bottom. The two outer sections of the visually divided sliding seat, designed to serve as bases for the movable corner and edge armrest cushions, have the shape of an irregular trapezoid, with the longer base at the top. The central seating section of the seat (when the sofa is folded into a sitting position) is supported loosely by two identical, relatively flat backrest cushions, mirror-image in appearance, shaped like a regular, rounded-corner, round-edged cuboid when viewed from the front, and with an irregular, trapezoidal base when viewed from the side. The movable, swinging, folding backrest is shaped like a regular cuboid with a rectangular base, the length of which roughly corresponds to the length of the seat. Beneath the sliding seat is a relatively flat, stationary underseat box, smaller in length and width, hinged to the swinging backrest, and equipped with four identical, rectangular, flat legs – gliders. The sliding seat is supported by two flat, wide, plate-girder front legs, shaped like an irregular trapezoid with a larger base at the top and a cross-section similar to the letter "C," located directly adjacent to the corners of the sliding seat. The sliding seat, two movable armrest cushions, two movable backrest cushions, and the swinging backrest are covered with a decorative textile upholstery material, or animal skin, or a synthetic leather-like cover. In the preferred version, the three-seater sofa has a length-to-depth-to-height ratio of 195/95/80 when folded for seating, and a ratio of 195/137 when unfolded for lying down for two people. Significant features of the industrial design. The sofa bed is characterized by the following essential features of industrial design. It consists of a flat rectangular backrest, a flat rectangular seat, and two identical, mirror-image, flat, rounded-corner, and rounded-edge armrest cushions. The seat, shaped like a regular cuboid with a rectangular base, is visually divided into four symmetrical pairs by three decorative, contouring upholstery pulls. The two outer sections of this optically divided seat, designed to serve as a base for the movable, enveloped corner and round-edged armrest cushions, have an irregular trapezoidal shape in front, with the longer base at the top. The central, sitting section of the seat supports two identical, relatively flat, mirror-image backrest cushions, which have a regular enveloped corner and round-edged cuboid shape in front and an irregular, trapezoidal base in side view. The movable, fold-down backrest has a regular cuboid shape with a rectangular base, the length of which is approximately the same as the seat. Under the seat, there is a relatively flat under-seat box, smaller in length and width, connected to the swinging backrest, and equipped with four identical rectangular flat legs. The seat is supported by two flat, wide plate-girder front legs, shaped like an irregular trapezoid with a larger base at the top and a cross-section similar to the letter "C," located directly adjacent to the seat corners. The sliding seat, two armrest cushions, two backrest cushions, and the swinging backrest are covered with decorative textile upholstery.
