Element drugi zestawu — taboret tapicerowany, sklada sie z prostokatnego w wi- doku z góry korpusu, spoczywajacego na czterech prostopadlosciennych stosunkowo 30 wysokich stopach z tworzywa drewnopochodnego, posiadajacych waskie plaszczyzny czolowe. Korpus taboretu w formie kasetonu stanowia polaczone w jedna calosc plyty meblowe. Do korpusu przyklejony jest blok pianki tapicerskiej. Widoczne plaszczyzny taboretu pokryte sa ta sama tkanina co boki, siedzisko, oparcie i dwie mniejsze poduszkikanapy rozkladanej. The industrial design concerns the specific shape and aesthetic qualities of the elements of the lounge furniture set, consisting of a sofa bed and an upholstered stool. 20 Design solutions are known for mass-produced, industrially-made sets of upholstered lounge furniture for home use, consisting of, among other things, a two- or three-seater sofa bed, an armchair, and a soft stool. The dominant accent is the uniformly colored upholstery, featuring numerous quilting or decorative stitching (especially stitching on the sides and outer surfaces of the seat and backrest). Solutions are also known in the construction of upholstered office and club furniture, in which the individual components of sofas, sofa beds, corner sofas, armchairs, and stools take on a cuboid shape. The industrial design solves the problem of developing a new form for the elements of a lounge furniture set, consisting of a sofa bed and a soft stool, with a specific, individual outline of their shapes, lines, contours, proportions and colors, the shape of the legs, the style of the decorative stitching, quilting and backrest cushions. All these features are suitable for multiple reproduction in an industrial or handicraft manner. The subject of the industrial design is presented and illustrated in detail in the attached computer animations, in which Fig. 1 shows a perspective, oblique view from the front right, of the principal first element of the set in the form of a sofa bed ready for seating; Fig. 2. First element of the set - fold-out sofa, according to Fig. 1. consists of a seat assembly, a backrest assembly, two mirror-image side panels, three large loose cushions, and two smaller backrest cushions. The seat assembly, raised using special mechanisms, also constitutes the first part of the reclining section, so in the following description it will be referred to interchangeably as the seat or reclining section. The seat assembly is supported by two rectangular feet made of wood-based material, with narrow surfaces in a color agreed upon with the customer. Two rod handles are attached to the front panel of the seat, used to connect the stool, via two corresponding rod-shaped metal hooks attached to the stool as shown in Fig. 7. The user of the set, according to the template, attaches the metal handles at their discretion, either to the left or right side of the sofa bed. The handles are designed so that when not connected to the stool, they can be hidden by gently pushing them into the seat. The visible surfaces of the seat 5 are covered with a decorative, essentially smooth upholstery fabric, with distinct double topstitching, arranged so as to visually divide the top and front surfaces of the seat into three equal parts. Additionally, the top and front surfaces of the seat are horizontally stitched with double topstitching. The perpendicular bottom of the reclining backrest and two mirror-image sides are covered with the same upholstery fabric as the seat, but without the decorative topstitching. The fixed, immovable body of the sofa bed consists of two mirror-image, rectangular sides of the sofa bed combined into one unit, and a bedding storage compartment hidden under the seat sub-assembly. Attached to the bedding container using special hinges is the backrest assembly, which, when folded horizontally, forms the second part of the bed. From the front, all backrest cushions have the shape of classic pillows, each covered by a combination of two rectangles of upholstery fabric. Two smaller cushions are cut from the same fabric as the sides, seat, and backrest of the sofa bed, while three large cushions are cut from a contrasting color but also appropriately coordinated with the furniture fabric. The second element of the set, the upholstered stool, consists of a rectangular body from above, resting on four relatively high, cuboid feet made of wood-based material, with narrow surfaces in a color agreed upon with the client. The coffered body of the stool is made of furniture boards joined together. A block of upholstery foam is glued to the body. The visible surfaces of the stool are covered with the same fabric as the sides, seat, backrest, and two smaller cushions of the sofa bed. The two opposite sides of the stool are stitched with a decorative two-needle topstitch. Two metal rod hooks are attached to the bottom of the stool, used to connect the stool to the sofa bed, via two corresponding metal rod handles as shown in Fig. 7. The user of the set attaches the metal hooks to the stool themselves. The hooks are designed so that when they are not connected to the sofa's handles, they can be hidden by gently pushing them into the stool. 4. Essential features of industrial design: The lounge furniture set is characterized by the following essential features of industrial design. The lounge furniture set consists of a sofa bed and an upholstered stool. The first element of the set—the sofa bed—consists of a seat assembly, a backrest assembly, two mirror-image side panels, three large loose cushions, and two smaller backrest cushions. The liftable seat assembly also constitutes the first part of the bed and is supported by two perpendicular feet made of wood-based material with narrow front surfaces. Two rod handles are attached to the seat's front panel, which connect the stool via its two rod-shaped metal hooks. The visible seat surfaces are covered with a decorative upholstery fabric, essentially smooth, with distinct double topstitching, arranged so as to visually divide the top and front surfaces of the seat into three equal parts. The rectangular, reclining backrest and two mirror-image sides are covered with the same upholstery fabric as the seat, but without the decorative topstitching.
