Abstract

En skipsdrivanordning har et gondolaktig hus (1) montert i bunnen av skipsskroget og en synkron- motor (7, 10) anordnet i huset (1). For å forbedre fremdriftsvirkningsgrad ved driveffekter på omkring 10 MW, er rotoren (10) til synkronmotoren utformet som en rotor som aktiveres av en permanentmagnet. Statoren (7) til synkronmotoren er formtilpasset i huset for å sikre kjøling gjennom husets vegg. En ytterligere kjøleinnretning utformet som en blåser (12) eller forstøver (13) kan tilknyttes hvert spolehode (8, 9).
