Abstract

Den gjennomsnittsberegnende krets (102) beregner en gjennomsnittsverdi av antallet gjentatte dekodinger avgitt fra feilkorreksjonsdekoderen (101) og avgir den beregnede gjennomsnittlige verdi av antallet gjentatte dekodinger til en komparator (103). Komparatoren (103) avgjør om gjennomsnittsverdien av antallet gjentatte dekodinger er større enn en terskelverdi. Når det avgjøres at gjennomsnittsverdien er større enn den forutbestemte terskelverdi, bestemmer komparatoren (103) at en betingelse for skifte av kanaler er tilfredsstilt og avgir så et kanalskiftesignal til en kanalskiftekrets (405). I et trådløst kommunikasjonssystem som benytter koder med høy kodegevinst som skal dekodes gjentatte ganger, kan således et kanalskiftesignal avgis på en passende betingelse uten å øke antallet kretser.
