Abstract

Hydroelektrisk turbin for produksjon av elektrisk strøm under utnyttelse av tidevannskrefter. Turbinen har en rotor med et åpent senter, slik at skovlene (34) er montert mellom en indre kant (32) og en ytre kant (33). Holdeelementer (22, 23) og antifriksjonselementer (7, 72) er anordnet for å begrense rotorens bevegelse i forhold til huset (21) i begge aksialretninger, slik at en vannstrøm (99) i disse retninger vil kunne drive turbinen. Holdeelementene (22, 23) og antifriksjonselementene (71, 72) muliggjør at rotoren kan forskyves i den ene eller andre aksialretningen som respons på vannstrømmen. Antifriksjonselementene som begrenser rotorens bevegelse i aksialretningen, har fordelaktig en øket tykkelse, slik at når antifriksjonselementene slites, vil rotoren kunne forskyve seg i forhold til huset i aksialretningen.
