Abstract

Det beskrives en sammensetning inneholdende : (A) minst 10 ?g av substituerte pyrroler per kg tørt materiale ; og (B) minst 100 mg per kg tørt materiale av en pyranon valgt blant gruppen omfattende maltol, 2,3-dihydro-3,5-dihydroksy-6-metyl-4H-pyran-4-on og kombinasjoner derav ; idet sammensetningen, idet den oppløses i vann ved et tørt faststoffinnhold på 0,1 vekt%, oppviser: i. en absorpsjon ved 280 nm (A2So) som overstiger 0,01, fortrinnsvis overstiger 0,05 : og ii. et absorpsjonsforhold A280/560 på minst 100, fortrinnsvis minst 200. Foreliggende sammensetning kan hensiktsmessig anvendes som et tilsettingsmiddel i drikkevarer eller næringsmidler for å hindre eller redusere lysinduserte smaksforandringer. Det beskrives også en framgangsmåte for å framstille ovennevnte sammensetning.
