Abstract

Oppfinnelsen omhandler en fremgangsmåte for produksjon av mellomdestillater fra en parafinladning produsert ved Fischer-Tropsch syntese, ved anvendelse av en hydrokrakkings/hydroisomeriseringskatalysator som omfatter minst ett hydrogenerende/dehydrogenerende element valgt fra gruppen bestående av de edle elementer fra gruppe VIII i det periodiske system, en ikke-zeolittisk bærer basert på silika-alumina som inneholder mer enn 5 vekt-% og mindre enn eller lik 95 vekt-% silika (SiO2), en porøs midlere diameter, målt ved kvikksølv-pumpe porøsimeter på 20-140 Å, et totalt porøst volum, målt ved kvikksølv-pumpe porøsimeter, på 0,1 ml/g 0,6 ml/g, et totalt porøst volum målt ved nitrogen-pumpe porøsimeter, 0,1 ml/g 0,6 ml/g, en spesifikk BET overflate på 100 - 550 m2/g, et porøst volum målt ved kvikksølv-pumpe porøsimeter, i porer hvis diameter er mer enn 140 Å, på mindre enn 0,1 ml/g, et porøst volum målt ved kvikksølv-pumpe porøsimeter i porer hvis diameter er mer enn 160 Å, på mindre enn 0,1 ml/g, et porøst volum målt ved kvikksølv-pumpe porøsimeter, i porer hvis diameter er mer enn 200 Å på mindre enn 0,1 ml/g, et porøst volum målt ved kvikksølv-pumpe porøsimeter i porer hvis diameter er mer enn 500 Å på mindre enn 0,01 ml/g, og et røntgen diffraksjonsdiagram som inneholder minst hovedlinjene som er karakteristisk for minst én av overgangsaluminaene inkludert i. gruppen utgjort av alfa, rho, chi, eta, gamma, kappa, theta og deltaaluminaer.
