Paroksetinhydrokloridpropan-2-ol-solvat desolvateres for å fjerne propan-2- ol og fremstille paroksetinhydrokloridanhydrat ved oppvarming av solvatmassen og ved å øke temperaturen for oppvarmingen ettersom mengden av propan-2-ol som er igjen i solvatmassen avtar.
