Abstract
Una instalacion para laminado en caliente se debera construir y operar de manera que las tiras de material que se pueden transformar con diferentes niveles de dificultad se puedan laminar a un espesor hasta por debajo de 1 mm, en donde a la salida del ultimo armazon no se exceda la velocidad de laminado de 15 m/seg, independientemente del material utilizado, y la tira laminada en caliente presente estructuras austeniticas. Para esto se provee que se usen desbastes de aproximadamente 50 mm de espesor para materiales que se pueden transformar facilmente, que el primero de los siete armazones realice solo un paso de alisado, que el desbaste se descascarille antes y detras del primer armazon y que el segundo al septimo armazones se efectue la reduccion a menos de 1 mm.
