Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un dispositivo para impedir que la escoria fluya con un metal fundido cuando este se sangra de un recipiente metalurgico, en donde la abertura de sangrado del recipiente esta formada por tubos intercambiables que se localizan uno sobre otro, fabricados de-material refractario resistente al desgaste y encerrados por los ladrillos que rodean la abertura de sangrado, siendo que el extremo inferior del sistema intercambiable de sangrado, el cual esta construido como se describe, esta formado por un ladrillo de forma concava contra el cual descansa una corredera que cierra la abertura. De acuerdo con la invencion, en la pared tubular de al menos el tubo intercambiable que desemboca en el interior del recipiente se proporcionan canales de extension axial abiertos en ambos extremos del tubo, los cuales en el extremo del tubo alejado del interior del recipiente se comunican con un suministro de gas.
