Abstract

連続溶解炉内のスラグフォーミングの状態を把握してスラグフォーミングを的確に抑制し、安定した状態で、溶融金属を連続的に製造することができる連続溶解炉のスラグフォーミング抑制方法を提供する。この方法は、炉内のスラグに抑制材を投入することと、スラグの吹錬中に連続溶解炉から排出される排ガスの流量を経時的に測定することと、排ガス流量が増加傾向にあるときに抑制材の投入速度を高め、排ガス流量が減少傾向にあるときに抑制材の投入速度を低くすることとを含む。
