Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un aparato y proceso para extraer calor y solidificar particulas derretidas de material. Un flujo de material derretido es atravesado por un flujo de dispersion/enfriamiento de alta presion para formar particulas de material derretido o semi-derretido. Las particulas chocan contra un aparato de transportacion, el cual las transporta a un sitio de recoleccion. El aparato de transportacion esta provisto con un vibrador, el cual proporciona un movimiento de vibracion al aparato de transportacion para evitar que las particulas que todavia se estan enfriando, se aglomeren de nuevo. Se podria proporcionar un flujo de dispersion/enfriamiento de baja presion, el cual atraviesa de manera substancialmente transversal el flujo de particulas de material derretido o semi-derretido que caen hacia el aparato de transportacion, con el objeto de mejorar la dispersion y los efectos de enfriamiento de las particulas. Se podria proveer una tolva para recolectar las particulas y para llevarlas al aparato de transportacion. Se podrian proveer tubos de agua de enfriamiento para expulsar un flujo de agua de enfriamiento sobre las paredes internas de la tolva y tambien, sobre el aparato de transportacion, el cual ayuda para enfriar las particulas dispersadas.
