Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un proceso para producir melamina pura en la cual, la melamina que contiene amoniaco, líquida se expande rápidamente desde una presion parcial de amoniaco P1 de entre 400 y 50 bar a una presion parcial del amoniaco P2 de entre 200 bar y la presion atmosférica, a una temperatura la cual está entre 0 y 60 degree C por arriba del punto de fijacion de la melamina la cual depende de la presion parcial del amoniaco prevaleciente en cada caso, las presiones más altas permiten un margen mayor de la temperatura desde el punto de fijacion de la melamina que las presiones más bajas, y P1 siempre siendo mayor que P2. Como resultado del mismo la melamina pura se deposita en forma solida. Expansiones adicionales de la melamina a presion atmosférica, si es necesario, y enfriando a temperatura ambiente, luego se llevan a cabo en cualquier orden y la melamina pura se aisla.
