Abstract
La presente invencion se relaciona con los procesos de secado y calentamiento y con un aparato que incorpora un dispositivo de combustion pulsada que puede ser utilizado en un sistema de secado o en un sistema de calentamiento. En general, el aparato incluye un dispositivo (12) de combustion pulsada para la combustion de un combustible, para producir un flujo pulsante de productos de combustion y una onda de presion acustica. El dispositivo (12) de combustion pulsada tiene una cámara de combustion (18) conectada a por lo menos un tubo de resonancia (20). Una cámara de resonancia (14) rodea por lo menos una porcion del dispositivo de combustion pulsada e incluye una boquilla (34) corriente abajo del tubo de resonancia (20). La boquilla (34) acelera los productos de combustion que fluyen a través de la misma y crea una cabeza de velocidad pulsante. En un sistema de secado (10), la boquilla (34) sale a una cámara de secado (16) en donde los productos de combustion se ponen en contacto con una corriente de alimentacion.
