Abstract
Una seccion de conductor para un nucleo de estator de una máquina-eléctrica polifásica. El nucleo de estator está provisto con una serie de ranuras paralelas alargadas para recibir secciones de conductor respectivas. La seccion de conductor incluye dos lados paralelos (6, 8) que tienen una seccion transversal rectangular y están diseñados para embragar las ranuras paralelas correspondientes en el nucleo de estator de tal manera que los dos lados definan un plano. Dicha seccion de conductor incluye además al menos una cabeza de conductor (10) que tiene una seccion transversal rectangular y enlaza dos extremos adyacentes de los dos lados paralelos. La cabeza tiene un cuerpo en forma de U cuando se observa por encima de manera perpendicular al plano, y un cuerpo sinuoso cuando se observa en la vista frontal a lo largo de dicho plano. La cabeza tiene superficies opuestas, superior e inferior. La superficie superior encara un lado del plano mientras que la superficie inferior encara el lado opuesto del plano. La seccion de conductor permite ventajosamente la eficiencia de un motor para incrementarse ya que el factor de espacio de ranura de estator es elevado, mientras que al mismo tiempo permite que las secciones tengan pequeñas cabezas, reduciendo mediante esto el peso del motor y la pérdida de calor.
