Abstract
Problema: Proporcionar excelente resistencia al agrietamiento por fragilización de metal líquido a un miembro estructural soldado por arco utilizando un miembro de placa de acero recubierto de aleación basada en Zn-Al-Mg sin restricción de las especies de acero para un acero base para recubrimiento y sin mucho incremento en costo. Solución al problema: En un método para producir un miembro estructural soldado por arco contiene un paso de unir miembros de acero mediante soldadura por arco con protección de gas para fabricar un miembro estructural soldado, por lo menos uno de los miembros a ser unidos es un miembro de placa de acero recubierto de aleación basada en Zn-Al-Mg por inmersión en caliente, y un gas de protección es un gas que está basado en un gas de Ar, un gas de He o un gas mezclado de Ar-He y tiene una concentración CCO2 de CO2 (% por volumen) que satisface la siguiente expresión (2) en relación a una entrada de calor de soldadura Q (J/cm): 0 = CCO2 = 2900Q-0.68.
