Este alambre para soldadura por arco con protección de gas es un alambre para unir una pluralidad de láminas de acero delgadas mediante soldadura por arco con protección de gas, el alambre incluyendo, en % en masa, con respecto a la masa total del alambre: C: 0.06 a 0.15%; Si: más de O a 0.18%; Mn: 0.3 a 2.2%; Ti: 0.06 a 0.30%; Al: 0.001 a 0.30%; y B: 0.0030 a 0.0100%, en el que Si, Mn, Ti y Al satisfacen las expresiones (1) y (2).
