Abstract

Una solución de conversión química que contiene más de 18 a 200 g/l o menos de fosfato monobásico de aluminio y que tiene un pH de 1.5 a 2.4. Un método para producir una lámina de acero estañada que incluye formar una capa de revestimiento que contiene Sn sobre por lo menos una superficie de una lámina de acero de manera que la masa por unidad de área de Sn es 0.05 a 20 g/m2, sumergir la lámina de acero en la solución de conversión química o someter a electrólisis catódica la lámina de acero a una densidad de corriente de 10 A/dm2 o menos en la solución de conversión química; y secar la lámina de acero para formar un recubrimiento de conversión química. Puesto que el método utiliza la solución de conversión química, se puede elaborar la siguiente lámina: una lámina de acero estañada que es capaz de evitar el deterioro de apariencia y la reducción de aireación de pintura debido a la oxidación de superficie de una capa de revestimiento de estaño sin utilizar Cr, lo que provoca problemas ambientales, y que se puede someter a conversión química a bajo costo.
