Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para la determinación de la presencia y/o la cantidad de un antígeno de un anticuerpo biespecífico en una muestra, por lo que el antígeno que ha de ser detectado puede ser unido específicamente por una primera especificidad de unión del anticuerpo biespecífico, y por lo que el antígeno forma complejo con el anticuerpo biespecífico (complejo antígeno-anticuerpo biespecífico), caracterizado porque comprende los pasos de: incubar una muestra que comprende el antígeno y el anticuerpo biespecífico con un anticuerpo anti-idiotípico, que se une específicamente a la segunda especificidad de unión del anticuerpo biespecífico, que es diferente de la primera especificidad de unión, por lo que el anticuerpo anti-idiotípico se une a una fase sólida, y detectar el complejo de anticuerpo antígeno-biespecífico anticuerpo anti-idiotípico y por lo tanto determinar la presencia y/o la cantidad del antígeno forma complejo de un anticuerpo biespecífico.
