Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona a un proceso para preparar ácido (R)-3-hidroxibutírico o una sal del mismo mediante fermentación de una etapa con un microorganismo no patogénico. La fermentación de ácido (R)-3-hidroxibutírico se realizó al suministrar con ciertas fuentes de carbono y nitrógeno. Estos microorganismos incluyen una cepa de Bacteria HR057 de Ácido Glutámico o un tipo de Corynebacterium Glutamicum genéticamente diseñada.
