Abstract

Un método para producir un polisiloxano funcionalizado con hidroxilo que tiene grupos hidroxilo secundarios o terciarios, el método que comprende los pasos de: i) hacer reaccionar un éter de hidroxialquilo alilo que tiene un grupo alcohol secundario o terciario con un siloxano bajo condiciones anhidras y bajo catálisis de metal de transición, dichos éter de alilo de hidroxialquilo acuerdo con la fórmula (I) en la que n es 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 o 5, preferiblemente 0; m es 1, 2, 3, 4 o 5, preferiblemente 1; el grupo de separación A está constituido por un enlace covalente o un grupo alquilo C1-C8, un grupo cicloalquilo de C3-C10, un grupo arilo de C6-C18 o un grupo aralquilo; Ra, Rb, Rc, Rd, R2, R3, R4 y R5 puede ser el mismo o diferentes y cada uno se selecciona independientemente de hidrógeno, un grupo alquilo de C1-C8, un grupo arilo de C6 - C18 o un grupo aralquilo de C6-C18, con la condición de que al menos uno de R3 y R4 no sea hidrógeno; y dicho siloxano acuerdo con la fórmula (II) en la que m es 1, 2, 3, 4 o 5, preferiblemente 1; R6, R7, R8 y R9 pueden ser el mismo o diferentes y cada uno representa un grupo alquilo de C1-C8, un grupo cicloalquilo de C3-C10, un grupo arilo de C6-C18 o un grupo aralquilo de C6-C18; y ii) en presencia del producto de reacción del paso i), la modalidad de una polimerización de apertura de anillo de al menos un monómero de siloxano cíclico.
