Abstract
Se proporciona un aparato para producir microparticulas polimericas solidas, el aparato comprende multiples generadores de gotas liquidas para formar gotas liquidas de un primer liquido y una boquilla para formar un chorro de un segundo liquido, donde los multiples generadores de gotas liquidas y la boquilla estan dispuestos en relacion uno con otro de manera que, cuando se usan, las gotas liquidas de los multiples generadores de gotas liquidas pasan a traves de un gas a dicho chorro del segundo liquido. Tambien se proporciona un proceso para producir microparticulas solidas, el proceso comprende: proporcionar un primer liquido que comprende un soluto y un solvente, el soluto comprende un polimero biocompatible, la concentracion de polímero en el primer liquido es de al menos 10 % p/v, donde "p" es el peso del polimero y "v" es el volumen del solvente, proporcionando multiples generadores de gotas liquidas que se pueden operar para generar gotas liquidas, proporcionando un chorro de un segundo liquido, haciendo que los multiples generadores de gotas liquidas formen gotas liquidas del primer liquido, pasando las gotas liquidas a traves de un gas para poner en contacto el chorro del segundo liquido para hacer que el solvente salga de las gotas, formando de esa manera microparticulas solidas, la solubilidad del solvente en el segundo liquido es de al menos 5 g de solvente cada 100 ml del segundo liquido, el solvente es sustancialmente mezclable con el segundo liquido.
