Abstract

Una composición para la administración oral de un agente bioactivo a especies acuáticas o terrestres que incluye partículas, cada una de las cuales incluye un agente bioactivo dispersado en gotitas de aceite, las gotitas de aceite estando dispersadas en una matriz que incluye un polímero de recubrimiento entérico, en donde cada una de las partículas además incluye un polímero mucoadhesivo. Un método de preparación de dicha composición que comprende en secuencia: (a) la formación de una mezcla acuosa que comprende un agente bioactivo disperso o disuelto; (b) la homogenización de la mezcla acuosa de la etapa (a) en aceite para producir una emulsión de la mezcla acuosa en el aceite; (c) la formación de una suspensión del producto de la etapa (b) en una solución acuosa que comprende un polímero de recubrimiento entérico; y o bien (d1) la pulverización, goteo o inyección de la solución de la etapa (c) en una solución acuosa que contiene un agente de reticulación para el polímero de recubrimiento entérico para formar las partículas, en donde la mezcla acuosa de la etapa (a) además comprende un polímero mucoadhesivo, o (d2) la formación de las partículas a partir de la suspensión de la etapa (c) en donde la etapa (b) además incluye la formación de gotitas de la emulsión en polímero mucoadhesivo acuoso y la reticulación del polímero mucoadhesivo para formar partículas intermedias.
