Abstract
Un sistema de transmisión de potencia vehicular (16) incluye un embrague de uñas (D1) que tiene un mecanismo sincronizador para la conexión y desconexión selectiva de un eje de rotación (44) que tiene dientes externos (44out) y un engranaje de embrague (54) que puede girar con relación al eje de rotación, con y entre sí. El sistema de transmisión de potencia incluye: un primer pistón (90) situado dentro de un agujero central (44a) formado a través del eje de rotación (44) de manera que el primer pistón pueda moverse de manera alternante en dirección axial; un manguito (56) conectado con el primer pistón y que tiene dientes internos (56s) que engranan con los dientes externos del eje de rotación de modo que el manguito es girado con el eje de rotación y de manera que el manguito pueda moverse de manera alternante en dirección axial junto con el primer pistón de acuerdo con los movimientos axiales del primer pistón; un anillo sincronizador (78) soportado en contacto deslizante con una superficie circunferencial exterior cónica (54t) del engranaje de embrague de manera que el anillo sincronizador pueda girar con relación al engranaje de embrague; y un actuador (112) que incluye un segundo pistón (92; 200) para avanzar en dirección axial el primer pistón con lo cual se ponen los dientes internos del manguito en conexión de engranaje con el engranaje de embrague a través del anillo sincronizador. El primer pistón y el segundo pistón están situados en posición coaxial con el eje de rotación.
