Abstract
La presente invención se extiende a métodos, sistemas y productos de programas informáticos para detectar y dar respuesta a vehículos de emergencia en una carretera. Los aspectos de la invención se pueden utilizar para detectar vehículos de emergencia y ceder el paso adecuadamente a vehículos de emergencia dependiendo de la configuración de la carretera. Un vehículo incluye múltiples sensores. El vehículo incluye también funciones de comunicación de vehículo a vehículo (V2V) y tiene acceso a datos cartográficos. Se proporcionan datos de sensores desde los múltiples sensores a lo largo de los datos cartográficos como una entrada a una red neural (ya sea en el vehículo o en la nube). De acuerdo con los datos de los sensores, la red neural detecta cuando uno o más vehículos de emergencia se están acercando al vehículo. A partir de una configuración de carretera, un vehículo puede usar múltiples sensores para ceder el paso automáticamente (y de forma segura) al o los vehículos de emergencia detectados. Ceder el paso automáticamente puede incluir uno o más de: disminuir la marcha, cambiar de carril, detenerse, etc.
