Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método y a un dispositivo para reparar el manguito de pico (6) de un recipiente metalúrgico el cual se fija de manera segura dentro del forro refractario (4, 5) del recipiente (1). De conformidad con la invención el manguito es reparado aplicando mortero al canal de fundición (7) del manguito (6) con un dispensador de mortero (9) que puede ser insertado en el canal de fundición (7), el cual después de remover el dispensador de mortero a partir del canal de fundición calibra el último sobre la longitud completa del canal. El dispensador de mortero (9) es accionado rotando coaxialmente al canal de fundición (7) durante la aplicación del mortero y, después de un tiempo definido, es removido del canal de fundición (7), todavía rotando. El método es particularmente adecuado para reparar el manguito interno de un cucharón de fundición con un cierre de deslizamiento que une el pico del cucharón, el mantenimiento del cual se lleva a cabo automáticamente en una estación de mantenimiento de la o instalación de fundición. En este caso, la invención hace provisión de manera que la reparación del manguito interno se lleva a cabo automáticamente aquí durante el mantenimiento del cierre deslizante.
