Abstract
Un método analítico mejorado para el análisis de las preparaciones de dianhidrogalactitol proporciona un método para determinar la pureza de dianhidrogalactitol y detectar impurezas en preparaciones de dianhidrogalactitol, así como identificar cualquiera de dichas impurezas; el método emplea la cromatografía líquida de alto rendimiento (HPLC), en particular, HPLC con detección de difracción de luz evaporativa (ELSD); la HPCL puede ser seguido por espectroscopía de masa en tándem; el método puede comprender además el paso de realizar la recolección de HPLC preparativa de al menos un pico de la sustancia específica presente en una preparación de dianhidrogalactitol.
