Abstract
La presente invención provee un sistema, método y dispositivo para analizar, localizar y/o identificar tipos de tejido. El método incluye analizar, localizar y/o identificar una o más muestras de tejido, caracterizado porque el método comprende: (a) generar partículas de tejido gaseosas de un sitio en la una o más muestras de tejido, (b) transportar las partículas de tejido gaseosas desde el sitio a un analizador, (c) utilizar el analizador para generar datos relacionados con el tejido en base a las partículas de tejido gaseosas, y (d) analizar, localizar y/o identificar la una o más muestras de tejido en base a los datos relacionados con el tejido. La invención puede ser usada ya sea en conjunción estrecha con un procedimiento quirúrgico, cuando una o más herramientas quirúrgicas son parte integrada de ionización, o como una sonda espectrométrica de masas separada para el análisis de una o más partes de tejido.
