Abstract
Una composición farmacéutica hecha de micropartículas para la liberación lenta de una sustancia activa, al menos durante un periodo que cubre del 6º mes después de la inyección de la composición, la composición comprende un grupo de micropartículas hechas de un copolímero del tipo PLGA, que incorpora una sustancia activa en la forma de una sal peptídica insoluble en agua; el copolímero comprende además al menos 75% de ácido láctico y una viscosidad inherente entre 0.1 y 0.9 dl/g, medida en cloroformo a 25ºC, y a una concentración del polímero de 0.5 g/dL; las micropartículas tienen además una distribución de tamaño definida como sigue: - D (v,0.l) está entre 10 y 30 micrómetros, - D (v,0.5) está entre 30 y 70 micrómetros, - D (v,0.9) está entre 50 y 110 micrómetros.
