Abstract
L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé qui permettent de réguler la géométrie d'un feuillard dans une usine de coulage comprenant un laminoir. On calcule un profil d'épaisseur cible qui est fonction du profil d'épaisseur d'entrée mesuré du feuillard et qui répond à des normes d'exploitation en matière de profil et de planéité. Un système de commande calcule une déformation différentielle rétroactive à partir de la déformation longitudinale du feuillard en comparant le profil d'épaisseur de sortie avec le profil d'épaisseur cible, et un signal de régulation est émis afin de commander un dispositif capable de modifier la géométrie du feuillard traité par le laminoir à chaud. On peut également calculer un vecteur de référence et/ou de sensibilité de régulation par l'amont en fonction du profil d'épaisseur cible, et l'utiliser pour produire le signal de régulation envoyé au dispositif de commande. On peut choisir le dispositif de commande parmi un groupe composé d'un contrôleur de pliage et/ou d'un contrôleur d'écartement et/ou d'un contrôleur de fluide de refroidissement.
