Abstract

본 발명의 목적은 NOx흡수제의 실제의 NOx량을 검출하며, 그것에 근거하여 NOx흡수제에서의 NOx방출제어를 실행하는 것으로, 기관 배기 통로내에 NOx흡수제(18)를 배치한다. NOx흡수제의(18) 하류의 기관 배기통로내에 공연비에 비례한 전류가 발생하는 O2센서(22)를 배치하여, 상기 O2센서(22)의 츨력 신호에 근거하여 NOx방출시에 NOx흡수제의(18)에 실제로 흡수되어 있는 NOx량을 산출한다. 상기 산출된 NOx량에 근거하여 추정 NOx량이 실제의 NOx흡수량을 나타내도록 보정되며, 상기 보정된 추정 NOx량이 설정값에 도달한 때에 NOx흡수제의(18)에서의 NOx의 방출 작용이 실행된다.

Claims (2)

  1. 유입되는 배기 가스의 공연비가 린(희박)일 때에 NOx를 흡수하며, 유입되는 배기 가스의 공연비가 리치(농후)로 되면 흡수한 NOx를 방출하는 NOx흡수제를 기관 배기 통로내에 구비하며, NOx흡수제에 흡수되어 있는 NOx량을 추정하는NOx흡수량 추정 수단을 구비하며, NOX흡수제에 흡수되어 있다고 추정되는 추정 NOX흡수량이 사전에 결정된 설정값을 넘은 때에 NOx흡수제에 유입되는 배기 가스의 공연비를 린에서 리치로 변환하여 NOx흡수제에서 NOx를 방출시키도록 한 내연기관의 배기 정화 장치에 있어서, NOx하류의 배기 통로내에 배치된 공연비 검출수단과, NOx흡수제에서 NOx를 방출하는 NOx흡수제에 유입되는 배기 가스의 공연비가 리치로 된 때에 상기 공연비 검출 수단의 검출 결과에 근거하여 NOx흡수제에 흡수되어 있던 모든 NOx량을 산출하는 NOx흡수량 산출 수단과, 상기 NOx흡수량 산출 수단에 의해 산출된 NOx량에 근거하여 추정 NOx흡수량이 실제의 NOx흡수량을 나타내도록 추정 NOx흡수량을 보정하는 보정 수단을 구비하며, 상기 보정 수단에 의해 보정된 추정 NOx흡수량이 사전에 결정된 설정값을 넘은 때에 NOx흡수제에 유입되는 배기 가스의 공연비를 린에서 리치로 변환하여 NOx흡수제에서 NOx를 방출시키도록 이루어진 것을 특징으로하는 내연기관의 배기 정화장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 NOx흡수량 산출 수단에 의해 산출된 NOx량에 근거하여 NOx흡수제의 열화 상태를 판단하는 열화 판단 수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관의 배기 정화장치.
