Abstract
이 발명은 극히 미세한 무기산화물의 실릴화 방법에 관한 것으로, 극히 미세한 무기 산화물은 그 처리공정전체의 온도범위에서 비교적 비휘발성인 적어도 하나의 실리화제와 처리하며, 그 비교적 비휘발성인 실릴화제를 액체로서 극히 미세한 무기 산화물과 극히 미세한 분무상 에어졸 형상으로 혼가시킨다. 또, 이 발명은 이 방법에 의해 제조한 무극성이 높은 소성실리카에 관한 것이다.

Claims (12)
- 극히 미세한 무기산화물의 실릴화(Silylarion)방법에 있어서, 극히 미세한 무기산화물을 모든 처리공정 온도범위에서 비교적 비휘발성인 적어도 하나의 실릴화제와 처리시키며, 비교적 비휘발성인 그 실릴화제를 극히 미세한 무기 산화물의 액체로서 극히 미세한 분무상의 에어졸 형상으로 혼가시킴을 특징으로하는 실리화 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 극히 미세한 그 무기산화물은 처리공정온도에서 휘발성인 적어도 하나의 실리화제와 추가처리하며, 그 휘발성인 실릴화제를 극히 미세한 무기산화물에 가스형성으로 혼가함을 특징으로하는 실릴화 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 그 방법은 극히 미세한 무기산화물과 실릴화제를 혼합시키는 제1공정(first step)과, 열처리에 의해 후처리하는 제2공정 및 가스 스트림에서 정제하는 제3공정으로 구성함을 특징으로하는 실릴화 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 그 처리공정 온도는 400℃이하의 온도임을 특징으로하는 위 실릴화방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 사용한 그 실릴화제는 같거나 다른 하나 이상의 오르가노 실리콘화합물로 구성함을 특징으로하는 실릴화방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 극히 미세한 무기산화물은 프로톤성용매(protic solvent)로 추가 처리함을 특징으로하는 실릴화방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 극히 미세한 그 무기산화물은 비표면적 100㎡/g(DIN 66131 및 66132에 의해 BET방법으로 측정)당 1wt%미만의 탄소함량을 가짐을 특징으로하는 실리화방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 극히 미세한 그 무기산화물은 실릴카임을 특징으로하는 실리화 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 그 실릴화제는 다음 일반식(I)의 오르가노실란 및/또는 다음 일반식(II)의 오르가노실록산으로 구성함을 특징으로하는 실릴화 방법.R1nSiX4-n(I)(R1 aXbSiO1/2)z(R1 2SiO2/2)x(R3R1SiO2/2)y(SiXbR1 a)z(II)위식에서, R1은 각각의 경우 같거나 다르며, 탄소원자 1-18을 가진 1가의 선택적으로 할로겐화시킨 탄화수소래디컬이며, X는 각각의 경우 같거나 다르며, 할로겐 또는 OH, OR2OCOR2, O(CH2)xOR2이며, (여기서 R2는 각각의 경우 같거나 다르며 탄소원자 1-8을 가진 1가의 탄화수소래디컬이고, XSMS 1, 2, 3이다) n은 1 또는 2이고, R3는 각각의 경우 같거나 다르며, 수소 또는 R1과 다른 탄소원자 1-18을 가진 1가의 선택적으로 할로겐화시킨 탄화수소래디컬이고, a는 0, 1, 2 또는 3이며, b는 0, 1, 2 또는 3이고, a+b의 합은 3과 같으며, x(II식) 또는 1∼200의 정수이고, y는 0과 같거나 1∼200의 정수이며, x+y의 합은 0과 같거나 1∼200의 정수이다.z는 0 또는 1이며, 단, z는 x+y의 합이 0과 같을 경우 0보다 더 크다.
- 비표면적 25㎡/g이상(DIN 66131 및 66132에 의해 BET방법으로 측정)을 가진 평균입자크기 100nm미만, 비표면적 100㎡/g이상(DIN 66131 및 66132에 의해 BET방법으로 측정)당 탄소함량 적어도 1wt%, 메타놀가 50 또는 50이상, 히드록시기의 상태흡수량 25%미만을 가지며, 그 실리카에서 추출할 수 있거나 용해할 수 있는 실릴화제의 프랙션(fraction)을 무극성이 높은 소성실리카상의 파장 3750cm-1에서 IR스펙트로스코피에 의해 검출할 수 없음을 특징으로 하는 제1∼9항 중 어느 한항에 의해 제조한 무극성이 높은 소성실리카.
- 제10항에 있어서, 그 결합실릴화제의 적어도 80mol%는 2개의 탄화수소래디컬로 치환시킨 실록시기로 구성함을 특징으로하는 무극성이 높은 소성실리카.
- 극성계(polar systems)의 점도부여제(thickener)로서, 아일의 흡수제로서, 토노(tomers) 및 소포 조성물(antifoam compositions)의 유동성(flowability)을 향상시키는 제1항 내지 제8중 어느 한 항에 의해 제조되거나 제9항 또는 제10항에 의한 무극성이 높은 소성실리카의 사용.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
