Abstract
플라스틱 필름등의 가소성을 갖는 기판을 사용한 액정 표시 소자의 외측에 배치되는 한쌍의 편광판(9,10)의 적어도 한쪽 단부를 기판(2)상에 형성된 전극 단자부(7) 영역까지 연장하여 형성된 액정 표시 소자이다. 액정 표시 소자의 전극 단자부(7)의 기계적 강도를 증가시키는 것에 의해 제조 공정 및 전자기기에 밀어 넣을시에 가해지는 응력에서의 단자 전극 크랙을 방지하고, 단선을 감소시킨 신뢰성 높은 액정 표시 소자를 제공할 수 있다.

Claims (6)
- 한쌍의 가소성을 갖는 기판 사이에 액정을 끼워 유지하고 이 기판의 외측에 한쌍의 편광판을 첨부하여 이루어진 액정 표시 소자에 있어서, 적어도 사이 한쪽 편광판 단부가 외부 구동 회로와의 접속을 하기 위해 설치된 전극 단자부 영역까지 연장 형성하여 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전극 단자부가 형성되고 또한 외부 회로 접속부재가 전기적 접속된 단부를 피복하도록 수지 몰드가 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 연장 형성된 편광판 외측에 보강판을 적충한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 한쌍의 편광판 양쪽 단부를 전극 단자부 영역까지 연장 형성하고 또한 전극 단자부와 한쪽 편광판 단부와의 공극에 수지몰드가 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 소자.
- 편광 소자막을 고분자 필름으로 끼워 삽입한 한쌍의 기판 사이에 액정을 끼워 유지하여 이루어진 액정 표시 소자에 있어서, 한쪽 기판 배면에 반사판을 외부 구동 회로와의 접속을 하기 위해 설치된 전극 단자부 영역까지 연장 형성하여 배치한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 소자.
- 제1항 내지 제5항중 어느 한 항에 기재된 액정 표시 소자를 탑재한 것을 특징으로 하는 전자기기.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
