Abstract
제 1 특징으로서, 본 발명은 코팅된 자기 입자를 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 상기 방법에 의하며, 무정형 가수분해된 알루미늄 함유 콜로이드 입자의 수성 졸을 자기 입자를 포함한 수성 현택액과 혼합한다. 무정형가수분해된 알루미늄 함유 콜로이드 입자의 평균 입자 크기는 약 0.5 내지 5㎚범위내이며, 이의 평균 가수분해도는 1.5 내지 약 3범위내이다. 혼합하는 동안, 무정형 가수분해된 알루미늄 함유 콜로이드 입자는 자기 입자상에 연속 무정형 알루미늄 수화 산화물의 코팅물을 형성하며, 이때, 코팅물의 평균 두께는 약 0.5 내지 약 5㎚범위내이다. 또한, 본 발명은 코팅된 자기 입자에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의한 코팅된 자기 입자는 자기화 코어 및 상기 자기화 코어상에 형성된 연속 무정형 알루미늄 수화 산화물의 코팅물을 포함한다. 코팅물의 평균 두께는 약 0.5 내지 약 5㎚범위내이다. 제 2 특징으로서, 본 발명은 비자기화 지지체상에 형성된 자기 층을 포함하는 자기 기록 매체에 관한 것이다. 자기 층은 중합체 결합제에 분산되어 있는 상기 설명되어 있는 코팅된 자기 입자를 포함한다.

Claims (11)
- a)자기 입자의 수성 현탁액을 제공하고 ; b)평균 입자 지경이 약 0.5 내지 5㎚범위내이고, 평균 가수분해도가 약 1.5 내지 약 3범위내인 무정형 가수분해된 알루미늄 함유 콜로이드 입자를 포함하는 수성 졸을 제공하고 ; c)상기 수성 졸을 상기 입자 수성 현탁액과 혼합하는 단계를 포함하여 상기 무정형 가수분해된 알루미늄 함유 콜로이드 입자가 자기 입자상에서 연속 무정형 알루미늄 수화 산화물의 코팅물을 형성하며, 상기 코팅물의 평균 두께가 약 0.5 내지 5㎚범위내인 코팅된 자기 입자를 제조하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 무정형 가수분해된 알루미늄 함유 콜로이드 입자의 평균 입자 지경이 약 2㎚인 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 자기 입자의 수성 현탁액이 전해질을 부가로 포함하며, 상기 전해질의 농도가 OM 내지 약 0.1M범위내인 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 염기성 알루미늄 염 수용액을 순한 염기 수용액과 반응시켜 상기 수성 졸을 제조하는 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 순한 염기 수용액이 0.03M 내지 0.25M범위내의 농도로 중탄산 암모늄을 포함하는 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 염기성 알루미늄 염 용액을 순한 염기 수용액과 반응시키기 전에, 상기 염기성 알루미늄 염 용액을 30℃ 내지 130℃범위내의 온도에서 1분 내지 2시간 범위내의 시간동안 예열시키는 방법.
- a)자기화 코어 ; 및 b)상기 자기화 코어상에 형성되고, 평균 두께가 약 0.5 내지 5㎚ 범위내인 연속 무정형 알루미늄 수화 산화물의 코팅물을 포함하는 자기 기록에 적합한 코팅된 복합재료 입자.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 연속 무정형 알루미늄 수화 산화물 코팅물의 평균 두께가 약 2㎚인 코팅된 복합재료 입자.
- 중합체 결합제에 분산되어 있는 코팅된 복합재료 입자를 포함하는 자기화층이 비자기화 지지체상에 형성되어 있고, 상기 코팅된 복합재료 입자가 a)자기화 코어 ; 및 b)상기 자기화 코어상에 형성되고, 평균 두께가 약 0.5 내지 5㎚ 범위내인 연속 무정형 알루미늄 수화 산화물의 코팅물을 포함하는 자기 기록 매체.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 중합체 결합제가 측쇄 산성 또는 이온성 부분을 포함하고, 상기 친수성기가 -SO3M, -OSO3M, -COOM, -PO(OM')2, 4차 암모늄기 및 OH로 구성된 군에서 선택되고, M이 수소, Na, K, Li 또는 암모늄이고, M'이 수소, Na, K, Li, 암모늄 또는 저급 알킬기인 자기 기록 매체.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 연속 무정형 알루미늄 수화산화물의 코팅물의 두께가 약 2㎚인 자기 기록 매체.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
