Abstract

본 발명은 진공 흡입 노즐(18)의 사용에 의해 전기 장치(14)의 장착면(12)에 헤더 조립체(10)을 장착하는 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 헤더 조립체는 장착면에 대해 위치되게 되어 있는 유전체 하우징(20)을 포함한다.
조립체는 하우징에 장착된 다수의 터미널(22)를 포함한다. 터미널은 전기장치의 상호 접속 회로(28)을 위한 꼬리부(24)와 하우징으로부터 돌출하는 핀부(26)을 갖는다. 미끄럼 분리식 덮개(16)이 터미널들의 적어도 약간의 핀부들의 자유 단부(26a)들을 수용하기 위한 다수의 핀 수용 통로(30)들을 갖는다. 핀부는 덮개 및 헤더가 조립체가 전기 장치에 함께 장착될 수 있게 하고 터미널의 꼬리부가 전기 장치의 회로에 상호 접속된 후 덮개가 미끄럼식으로 분리될 수 있도록 통로에 억지 끼워맞춤된다. 덮개는 헤더 조립체(10) 및 덮개(16)의 공동 조작 및 위치 설정을 위해 진공 흡입 노즐(18)에 흡착되기에 충분한 크기의 평탄한 상부면 영역(32)를 갖는다.

제3도는 확장될 수 있는 헤더 조립체를 가상선으로 도시한 제2도의 헤더 조립체 및 덮개의 정면도,
제4도는 인쇄 회로 기판상에 위치된 제2도에 도시된 헤더 조립체 및 덮개의 단부면도,
제5도는 헤더 블록을 위로 한 제3도의 선 5-5를 따라 취한 수직 단면도.

Claims (7)

  1. 진공 흡입 노즐을 사용하여 전기 장치의 장착면에 헤더 조립체를 위치시키는 방법에 있어서, 유전체 하우징과 하우징의 한 쪽에 노출된 꼬리부와 하우징의 다른 쪽으로부터 돌출하는 핀부를 갖는 다수의 터미널들을 갖는 헤더 조립체를 제공하는 단계와, 진공 흡입 노즐에 의한 흡착에 충분한 크기의 평탄한 상부면 영역과 다수의 핀수용 통로들을 갖는 미끄럼 분리식 덮개를 제공하는 단계와, 덮개를 터미널들의 핀부들의 적어도 약간의 자유단부에 핀부와 덮개의 핀 수용 통로 사이에 억지 끼워 맞춤되도록 미끄러지게 하는 단계와, 진공 흡입 노즐로 덮개의 평탄한 상부면 영역을 흡착하는 단계와, 헤더 조립체와 덮개를 전기 장치의 장착면에 함께 위치시키는 단계와, 터미널들의 꼬리부를 전기 장치의 회로에 납땜하는 단계와, 덮개를 터미널들의 핀부들의 자유 단부들로부터 미끄럼 분리시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 미끄럼 분리식 덮개가 적어도 헤더 조립체의 하우징에 인접한 영역에서 헤더 조립체의 주연 경계 내에 포함되기에 충분히 작은 주연 치수를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 미끄럼 분리식 덮개가 소정의 두께를 가지며, 덮개를 터미널의 핀부들로부터 미끄럼 분리시키는데 필요한 힘의 크기를 감소시키도록 터미널의 핀부와 핀 수용 통로 사이에 덮개의 두께보다 짧은 길이의 억지 끼워맞춤을 제공하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 진공 흡입 노즐을 사용하여 전기 장치의 장착면에 헤더 조립체를 장착하는 시스템에 있어서, 상기 장착면에 인접하여 위치되게 되어 있는 유전체 하우징과, 전기 장치의 회로에 상호 접속되는 꼬리부와 하우징으로부터 상향 돌출하는 핀부를 포함하고 하우징에 장착되는 다수의 터미널을 포함하는 헤더 조립체와, 터미널들 중 적어도 약간의 핀부의 자유 단부를 수용하는 다수의 핀 수용 통로를 갖는 미끄럼 분리식 덮개를 포함하고, 핀부는 덮개 및 헤더 조립체가 전기 장치에 장착될 수 있게 하고 터미널의 꼬리부가 전기 장치의 회로에 상호 접속된 후 덮개를 터미널로부터 미끄럼 분리시킬 수 있게 하도록 통로에 억지 끼워 맞춤되고, 덮개는 헤더 조립체 및 덮개의 취급 및 위치 설정을 위해 진공 흡입 노즐을 흡착되기에 충분한 크기의 평탄한 상부면 영역을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 덮개가 소정의 두께와, 덮개를 터미널의 핀부로부터 미끄럼 분리시키는데 필요한 힘의 크기를 감소시키도록 터미널의 핀부와 핀 수용 통로 사이에 덮개의 두께보다 짧은 억지 끼워맞춤 길이를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 미끄럼 분리식 덮개가 적어도 헤더 조립체의 하우징에 인접한 영역에서 헤더 조립체의 유전체 하우징의 주연 경계보다 크지 않은 주연 치수를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
  7. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 미끄럼 분리식 덮개가, 덮개를 터미널로부터 수동으로 미끄럼 분리시킬 수 있게 하도록 평탄한 상부면 영역에 인접한 외측 돌출 플랜지 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
