Abstract
본 발명에서는 용융 압출 가능한 제1중합체 성분 및 용융 압출 가능하고 친수성인 제2중합체 성분으로 이루어진 친수성의 용융 압출된 다성분 중합체 스트랜드가 제공된다. 상기 다성분 스트랜드의 제1 및 제2성분은 상기 다성분 스트랜드의 전횡단면의 실질적으로 분리된 대역에 배치되어 상기 다성분 스트랜드의 길이를 따라서 연속적으로 연장되고, 상기 제2성분은 상기 다성분 스트랜드의 길이를 따라서 연속해서 상기 다성분 스트랜드의 주변 표면의 적어도 일부분을 이룬다. 상기 제2성분은 스트랜드가 친수성이 되게하며, 바람직하게는 25℃에서의 임계 표면 장력은 약 550dyne/cm 이상이고, 더 바람직하게는 약 65dyne/cm 이상이다. 적당한 친수성 제2성분은 나일론 6과 폴리에틸렌 옥사이드 디아민의 블럭 공중합체로 이루어진다. 제1성분으로서 적당한 중합체로는 선형 중축합체, 및 폴리프로필렌과 같은 결정질 폴리올레핀이 있다. 또한, 친수성 다성분 중합체 스트랜드로부터 제조된 부직포 및 흡수용품도 제공된다.

Claims (54)
- 용융 압출 가능한 제1중합체 성분 및 용융 압출 가능하고 친수성인 제2중합체 성분을 포함하고 횡단면, 길이 및 주변 표면을 가지는 용융 압출 다성분 중합체 스트랜드이며, 여기서 상기 제1 및 제2성분은 상기 다성분 스트랜드의 전횡 단면의 실질적으로 분리된 대역에 배치되어 상기 다성분 스트랜드의 길이를 따라서 연속적으로 연장되고, 상기 제2성분은 상기 다성분 스트랜드의 길이를 따라서 연속해서 상기 다성분 스트랜드의 주변 표면의 적어도 일부분을 이루는 것인 용용 압출된 다성분 중합체 스트랜드.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1성분은 코어를 형성하고 제2성분은 시이드(sheath)를 형성하여 상기 제1 및 제2성분이 시이드/코어 배열로 배치되는 용융 압출된 다성분 중합체 스트랜드.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2성분이 약 55dyne/cm 이상의 20℃에서의 임계 표면 장력을 갖는 것인 용융 압출된 다성분 중합체 스트랜드.

- 제11항에 있어서, 제1성분이 코어를 형성하고 제2성분이 시이드를 형성하여 상기 제1 및 제2성분이 시이드/코어 배열로 배치된 것인 용융 압출된 다성분 중합체 스트랜드.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1성분이 스트랜드의 약 50 내지 약 95중량%의 양으로 존재하고, 상기 제2성분이 스트랜드의 약 50 내지 약 5중량%의 양으로 존재하는 것인 용융 압출된 다성분 중합체 스트랜드.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1성분이 스트랜드의 약 50 내지 약 85중량%의 양으로 존재하고, 상기 제2성분이 스트랜드의 약 50 내지 약 15중량%의 양으로 존재하는 것인 용융 압출된 다성분 중합체 스트랜드.
