Abstract
본 발명은 중합체 제품을 중합성 계면활성제, 가교제 및 자유 라디칼 개시제로 이루어진 수성 분산액중에 침지시키는 단계, 및 침지시킨 제품을 자외선 광에 노출시켜 제품상에 영구적인 가교된 표면을 변성시키는 방법에 관한 것이다. 또한 본 발명의 방법에 의해 제조된 피복된 제품에 관한 것으로 본 발명의 방법은 특히 콘택트 렌즈를 피복하는데 적합하다.

Claims (37)
- 중합체 제품을 중합성 계면활성제, 가교제 및 자유 라디칼 개시제로 이루어진 수성 분산액중에 침지시키는 단계, 및 침지시킨 제품을 자외선광에 노출시켜 제품상에 영구적인 가교된 표면 피복층을 형성시키는 단계를 포함하는, 중합체 제품의 표면을 변성시키는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중합체 계면활성제가 하기 식으로 표시되는 표면 활성 고분자인 방법:
- DC [AxBy]
- 상기 식중, A는 하나이상의 에틸렌계 불포화 친수성 단량체이고, B는 하나이상의 에틸렌계 불포화 소수성 단량체이고, C는 작용성 연쇄 이동제이고, D는 에틸렌계 불포화 말단기이고, y는 약 0.1 내지 약 0.9의 범위내에 존재하며, x+y=1이다.
- 제2항에 있어서, A가 에틸렌계 불포화 폴리옥시알킬렌, 폴리아크릴아미드, 폴리비닐피롤리돈, 폴리비닐알코올, 폴리(HEMA), 및 N-알킬-N-비닐 아세트아미드로 이루어진 군중에서 선택되는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, A가 (메트)아크릴화 폴리옥시알킬렌, (메트)아크릴아미도 폴리옥시알킬렌, 스티레닐 폴리옥시알킬렌, 알케닐 폴리옥시알킬렌, 비닐 카르보네이트 폴리옥시알킬렌 및 비닐 카르바메이트 폴리옥시알킬렌으로 이루어진 군중에서 선택된 에틸렌계 불포화 폴리옥시알킬렌인 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 폴리옥시알킬렌이 폴리에티렌 옥사이드인 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, A가 (메트)아크릴화 폴리에틸렌 옥사이드인 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, A가 메톡시 폴리에틸렌 글리콜 메타크릴레이트인 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, A가 메타크릴레이트로 말단캡핑된 폴리-N,N-비닐피롤리딘온인 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, A가 메타크릴레이트로 말단캡핑된 폴리-N,N-디메틸아크릴아미드인 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, B가 알킬 (메트)아크릴레이트, N-알킬 (메트)아크릴아미드, 알킬 비닐카르보네이트, 알킬 비닐카르바메이트, 플루오로알킬 (메트)아크릴레이트, N-플루오로알킬 (메트)아크릴아미드, N-플루오로알킬 비닐카르보네이트, N-플루오로알킬 비닐카르바메이트, 실리콘-함유 (메트)아크릴레이트, (메트)아크릴아미드, 비닐 카르보네이트, 비닐 카르바메이트, 스티렌계 단량체 및 폴리옥시프로필렌 (메트)아크릴레이트로 이루어진 군중에서 선택되는 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 스티렌계 단량체가 스티렌, 알파-메틸 스티렌, 파라-메틸 스티렌, 파라-t-부틸 모노클로로 스티렌, 및 파라-t-부틸 디클로로 스티렌으로 이루어진 군중에서 선택되는 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, B가 1-H, 1-H, 5-H-옥타플루오로펜틸 메타크릴레이트인 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, C가 머캡토 카르복실산, 머캡토 알코올, 및 아미노머캡탄으로 이루어진 군중에서 선택되는 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, C가 티오글리콜산인 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, C가 2-머캡토에탄올인 방법.

- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 수성 분산액이 약 0.1 내지 0.0001의 몰농도하의 중합성 계면활성제, 약 1 내지 약10-4중량부의 가교제 및, 약 0.1 내지 약 10-4중량부의 자유 라디칼 개시제를 함유하는 방법.
- 중합체 제품을 중합성 계면활성제, 가교제 및 자유 라디칼 개시제로 이루어진 수성 분산액중에 침지시키고, 침지시킨 제품을 자외선 광에 노출시켜 제품상에 영구적인 가교된 표면 피복층을 형성시킴으로써 제조된, 표면-변성된 중합체 제품.
