제3도는 정보를 기록 및 삭제하기 위한 레이저비임조사(laser beam irradiation)의 일형태의 파형을 나타내는 도면.

Claims (6)

  1. 정보를 기록 및 삭제하는 방법에 있어서, 이 방법이 Sb, Te, Ge와, Pb, Bi, In, Sn과 T1의 그룹으로부터 선택된 최소한 하나의 원소로 이루어지고, 기판상에 적충되는 기록층을 갖는 기판을 포함하는 기록매체를 단일레이저비임으로 조사하는 것을 포함하며, 한편 상기 단일 레이저비임에 대해서 상기 기록층을 이동시키고, 상기 기록층이 비결정상태와 결정상태 사이에서 기록층에 인가된 레이저비임 강도에 따라서 가역적으로 변환할 수 있으며, 이 가역적변환이 정보의 기록 및 삭제에 효과적이고, 상기 단일 레이저비임은 각각 상기 기록층을 결정화하고, 상기 기록층을 비결정화하기 위하여 2개의 상이한 강도로 인가되며, 반면에 소정의 정보에 상응한 레이저비임 강도 패턴에 따라서 상기 2개의 상이한 강도사이에 레이저비임을 변경시키고, 그럼으로써 기록층내에 상기 소정의 정보에 상응한 비결정영역과 결정영역을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 정보의 기록 및 삭제방법.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 기록층의 결정화가 상기 기록층상에 정보를 기록하는데 효과적이고, 상기 기록층의 비결정화가 상기 기록층상에 기록된 정보를 삭제하는데 효과적인 것을 특징으로 하는 정보의 기록 및 삭제방법.
  3. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 기록층의 결정화가 상기 기록층상에 기록된 정보를 삭제하는데 효과적이고, 상기 기록층의 비결정화가 상기 기록층상에 정보를 기록하는데 효과적인 것을 특징으로 하는 정보의 기록 및 삭제방법.
  4. 제 1 항에 있어서, Sb, Te, Ge와, Pb, Bi, In, Sn과 Tl의 그룹으로부터 선택된 상기 원소가 다음의 공식 : (TexGeySb1-x-y)1-zMz[여기서 M은 Pb, Bi, In, Sn과 Tl의 그룹으로수터 선택된 초소한 하나의 원소, 그리고 0.3??x??0.7, 0.1??y, 0.01??z??0.3 및 x+y<1.]에 의하여 제시된 원자비로 상기 기록층상에 존재하는 것을특징으로 하는 정보의 기록 및 삭제방법.
  5. 제 3 항에 있어서, M이 Pb인 것을 특징으로 하는 정보의 기록 및 삭제방법.
  6. 제 3 항에 있어서, M이 Tl인 것을 특징으로 하는 정보의 기록 및 삭제방법.
