Claims (11)

  1. 로듐 촉매를 함유하는 액체 반응매체 내에서 산보다 탄소수 하나가 적은 알콜을 일산화탄소와 반응시킴으로써 저급카르복실산을 제조하는 공정에 있어서, 반응이 진행되는 동안 최소한 제한량의 물과 함께 유효량(a) 촉매 안정화제(반응온도에서 반응매체 내에 유효 농도로 용해되는 요오드염으로 이루어진 군에서 선택), (b) 상기 알콜에 상응되는 저급 탄화수소의 요오드화물 유도체 및 (c) 상기 알콜과 카르복실산과의 에스테르를 상기 반응매체내에 유지시키는 것으로 구성되는, 카르복실산 제조의 개선방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 요오드염이 Ⅰa족 및 Ⅱa족으로부터 선택된 금속의 요오드염 또는 4차 요오드염인 개선방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 요오드염이 요오드화리튬 또는 요오드화 나트륨인 개선방법.
  4. 로듐 촉매를 함유하고, 물, 초산, 요오드화메틸 및 초산메틸로 구성되는 액체 반응매체 내에서 메탄올을 일산화탄소와 반응시킨 후 뒤이어 산출된 반응 생성물로부터 초산을 회수함으로써 초산을 제조하는 공정에 있어서, 반응이 진행되는 동안 최소한 제한농도의 물과 함께 유효량의 (a) 촉매 안정화제(반응온도에서 반응매체내에 유효농도로 용해되는 요오드염으로 이루어진 군에서 선택), (b) 요오드화메틸 및 (c) 초산메틸을 상기 반응매체내에 유지시키는 것으로 구성되는, 초산 제조의 개선방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 요오드염이 4차 요오드염이거나 혹은 주기율표의 Ⅰa족 및 Ⅱa족 금속의 요오드염인 개선방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 요오드염이 요오드화알칼리 금속인 개선방법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 요오드염이 요오드화리듐인 개선방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 반응매체의 물 함량을 약 0.1-20중량%로 유지시키고, 요오드화리튬의 함량을 약 2-30중량%로, 초산메틸의 함량을 약 0.5-30중량%로, 요오드화메틸의 함량을 약 5-20중량%로 하고 잔여량은 초산으로 메우며, 반응매체내에 로듐 촉매를 약 200-1000ppm의 농도로 유지시키는 개선방법.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 반응매체내에 약 1-4중량%의 물, 10-20중량%의 요오드화리튬 14-16중량%의 요오드화메틸 및 최적의 촉매 안정화가 요구될시에는 0.5-5중량%의 초산메틸, 최대의 반응기 생산성이 요구될 시에는 2-5중량%의 초산메틸을 유지시키고 잔여량은 주로 초산으로 메우는 개선방법.
  10. 로듐 촉매를 촉매적 유효농도로 함유하며 필수적으로 물, 초산, 요오드화메틸 및 초산메틸로 이루어진 액체반응매체내에서, 초산제조를 위하여 메탄올과 일산화탄소를 반응시킨 후 뒤이어 산출된 반응생성물로부터 초산을 회수하는 공정에 있어서, 반응이 진행되는 동안 상기 반응매체내에 물 약 1-4중량%, 요오드화리튬 10-20중량%, 초산메틸 0.5-5중량% 및 요오드화메틸 14-16중량%를 유지시키고 잔여량은 주로 초산으로 메움으로써 공업적으로 만족할만한게 생산성을 유지시킴과 아울러 최적의 촉매 안정성을 유지시키는 것으로 구성되는 개선방법.
  11. 로듐 촉매를 촉매적 유효농도로 함유하며 필수적으로 물, 초산, 요오드화메틸 및 초산메틸로 이루어진 액체 반응매체 내에서, 초산제조를 위하여 메탄올과 일산화탄소를 반응시킨 후 뒤이어 산출된 반응생성물로 부터 초산을 회수하는 공정에 있어서, 반응이 진행되는 동안 상기 반응매체내에 물 1-4중량%, 요오드화리튬 10-20중량%, 초산메틸 2-5중량% 및 요오드화메틸 14-16중량%를 유지시키고 잔여량은 초산으로 메움으로써 공업적으로 만족할만한 촉매 안정성을 유지시킴과 아울러 최적의 계생산성을 유지시키는 것으로 구성되는 개선방법.
