LA REACCION SE LLEVA A CABO EN PRESENCIA DE ACETATO DE METILO Y YODURO DE METILO (O YODURO DE LITIO) Y CON RH COMO CATALIZADOR, EN UN SISTEMA FORMADO POR: UN REACTOR DE CARBONILACION EN FASE LIQUIDA, UN <VAPORIZADOR INSTANTANEO> Y UNA COLUMNA DE SEPARACION PARA IME-ACIDO ACETICO; LA PRESION PARCIAL DEL CO EN EL REACTOR ES DE 2-30 ATM, PREFERENTEMENTE 4-15 ATM, LA TOTAL ES DE 15-45 ATM Y LA TEMPERATURA ES DE 180-220JC.
